Gojira has announced the first North American tour in support of their awaited new album, Magma. With shows booked for the U.S. and Canada in September and October, TesseracT will be providing direct support for Gojira on this trek.

French metal force Gojira has revealed the title and release date of their forthcoming record! Their sixth album will be called Magma and you can grab it when it hits stores on June 17th via Roadrunner Records. The band has released another teaser for it to build the anticipation. Gojira have shared a short video from the studio sessions of their new album. The French metallers also confirmed that their new album and follow-up to L'Enfant Sauvage (released four years ago) will drop in the spring of 2016. The group has been forging the new record at the studio Silver Cord based in New York, designed and owned by guitarist/vocalist Joe Duplantier.
The Duplantier brothers of Gojira are going through a difficult time and have been forced to cancel three shows due to a death in the family. Joe and Mario Duplantier's mother has passed away. As a result, and understandably, Gojira will be postponing their upcoming performances this week in Luxembourg on July 6th, Martigny on July 7th, and Prattein on July 8th.
Gojira have entered the studio Silver Cord based in New York. Designed and owned by guitarist/vocalist Joe Duplantier of Gojira, the studio will serve as the band's headquarters for the next couple of months as they produce their 6th studio album. Their last effort, L'Enfant Sauvage, came out in 2012 already. Now it's time to work on the next offering.
Lots of news from Mastodon lately. Well, this is definitely one of the most intriguing ones, especially for all the fans. Gojira are releasing Les Enfants Sauvages on March 11th. And what is Les Enfants Sauvages you might ask? Actually, it is a limited edition 5" x 7", 60-page hardcover photo book chronicling the band's journey around the world over the last two years, since the release of their critically acclaimed Roadrunner debut L'Enfant Sauvage. The package also includes a live CD and DVD capturing last year's performance at the Brixton Academy in London.
