Marduk have just appeared at Incineration Fest in London last weekend, a performance during which bassist Joel Lindholm's general behaviour was considered unacceptable by the band, resulting in him getting fired. Among other things, he performed a nazi salute to the crowd at the end of "Beyond The Grace Of God", an incident that was filmed and uploaded (along with the entire concert) on YouTube by one user Mick 666. Marduk have announced that their old bassist Devo Andersson will be taking Lindholm's place in temporarily. You can read the statement and watch the video of the live appearance below.

Nattehimmel is the new project of the founding members of both Norwegian bands, In The Woods... and Green Carnation, the Botteri brothers. Christian (guitars) and Christopher (bass) have returned to their black metal roots and teamed up with recently departed In The Woods... vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist, Englishman James Fogarty. They are joined by their long-time collaborator Sven Rothe on drums. The five-piece recently joined forces with Hammerheart Records and also put out a debut 3-track demo, The Night Sky Beckons. The work on their debut full lelngth is currently underway.

In a recent interview with Pierre Gutiérrez, Chimaira guitarist Rob Arnold revealed that the band, just prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, had planned to reunite for not only live performances but also to possibly record a new album, which would have been their first since 2013's Crown Of Phantoms. Chimaira called it quits back in 2014 after 16 years together. They reunited for one show back in 2017 and have been mostly inactive since then.
