"Losing My Mind", the brand new lyric video from US metallers Chimaira has premiered and is now available for viewing below. The song is taken from the band's latest release The Age Of Hell, which came out last year through Long Branch Records.
US metallers Chimaira's vocalist Mark Hunter has posted online at this location four demos from the band's recording sessions of their most recent album, The Age Of Hell, released last year. Two of the songs were previously unreleased, as they didn't make the cut onto the final mix of the album. Mark Hunter only posted the songs that he wrote and arranged himself out of respect to his former band members Rob Arnold and Matt DeVries.
US metallers Chimaira have announced that bassist Jeremy Creamer and guitarist Matt Szlachta have now joined the band.
The band posted the following on their official website: "We are proud to announce the addition of Matt Szlachta and Jeremy Creamer to Chimaira. The plan was to build an undeniable string section and we have done just that. Jeremy will be pounding on the bass, and Matt shredding alongside Emil on guitar."
Vocalist Mark Hunter of US metallers Chimaira has issued the following statement on the band's website:
"I would like to start off by thanking our fans for a great tour. This last run was a blast, and truly the most fun we've had in a long while. The energy from the audience was exactly what we needed, and a welcoming return. Thank you guys!
Unfortunately, as much fun as we were having, behind the scenes we were aware of some unfortunate realities that prevented us from "living the dream" and having the time of our lives. We had another bomb to drop on the fans.
Early in July we were informed that Rob Arnold and Matt DeVries would be leaving Chimaira at the end of 2011. Of course this was a huge blow, but there were no hard feelings. We understand that life invades art, everything runs its course, and we have to take different paths. We respect their decision and wish them only the best. We made heavy metal history together and that is all that matters at the end of the day. Chimaira Christmas 12 will be their last show, and we've been preparing to make it one that you'll never forget.

Cleveland metallers Chimaira will embark on a first leg of US The Age Of Hell Tour this fall. Support on the road will come from Revocation, Rise To Remain and Impedning Doom.
The band will be doing a second leg in the US in November/December. This will be followed by Australia, Europe and the UK next February through April.
