12:31 - Lokaeda :p I like the sound of that instrument a lot. Make sure to check bands like Huun-Huur-Tu, Chirgilchin, Ensemble Khna Bogd to get a glimpse at it (as well as to Mongol/Tuvan folk music in general). Well worth it in my opinion :)
12:29 - Redn1ght Again with F? Meant lute. screw typos. :(
12:18 - Redn1ght Morin Khuur? I get the impression of it as a mix of flute and violin from the looks.
12:15 - Lokaeda Some folk instruments that are seldom used compared to others: Didgeridoo (can't think of a band right now), Mongol instruments such as morin khuur (Ego Fall, and a European band I can't recall the name of)
12:12 - Redn1ght Hah, Banjo... That's an interesting one.

"We have begun pre-production for the new Hirax album "El Rostro de la Muerte" cover art]. Song titles to date include "Baptized By Fire", "Death Militia", "Battle Of The North", and re-recorded versions of "Blind Faith" and "Broken Neck".
Expect more new songs and a lot of surprises. This will be our FASTEST and HEAVIEST album to date, with an emphasis on the technical playing, aggressive double bass drumming, and dual guitar attack! Massive guitar riffs, pounding bass guitar, the vocals - sharp, clear and up front! The production will be top notch with John Hadad back at the helm again. He also handled the duties for "Assassins Of War" and "Chaos And Brutality" EPs.
Los Angeles thrashers Hirax have announced the return of original drummer John Tabares and addition of guitarist Lance Harrison to the group's ranks. The band are currently in pre-production, writing songs for their upcoming EP, "Assassins of War", tentatively due later in the year. More information will be made available soon.
In November 2005, Hirax frontman Katon W. De Pena was left as the group's sole remaining member after Glenn Rogers (lead guitars), Angelo Espino (bass), Dave Chedrick (drums) and Dave Watson (lead guitars) announced their departure from the band. As a result of their exit, Hirax's Japanese tour was cancelled and the band's appearance at this year's Keep It True VI festival was called off.
