19:59 - Ceddybu pretty much agree with J-swizzle about amazon, ain't had problems with them and theres some good deals
19:50 - Cynic Metalhead Ebay are retarded. i once ordered Razor and they delivered defect one. i though gotta new one but that annoyed me like anything,
19:44 - Redn1ght Just a little annoyance to me Jaeryd, nothing much else. :p
19:15 - Jaeryd17 But I don't see how auto-rip is a problem, since it's not required that you use those files at all. Basically it's just a nice extra that doesn't cause any problems, so I'm not sure how that's a bad thing.
19:11 - Jaeryd17 I've never had a problem with Amazon. And sometimes you can find some really good deals on new CDs that aren't delivered by Amazon themselves, so you don't get the auto-rip anyway.
Hour Of Penance will embark on a European tour this fall alongside Australian tech-death act Psycroptic and UK death metal outfit Dyscarnate. Prior to the tour, which kicks off in Belgium on September 20th, the band will be seen appearing at several of the summer's international festivals. All upcoming dates are listed below. The death metallers have also announced that they have begun working on their next release, expected out in early 2014.
Italian brutal death metal act Hour Of Penance has announced the addition of drummer James Payne to their lineup.
Guitarist Giulio Moschini had the following to say: "Please welcome our new drummer James Payne. I've known him for quite a long time and he's a very talented drummer. We're proud to have him on board! James will be playing with us starting at Hellfest this weekend, and all of our dates on the Extreme fests here in Europe."
Italian death metal band Hour Of Penance have announced Sedition as the title of their Prosthetic Records' debut, and fifth album overall. Sedition will be released March 27 in North America, April 2 in the UK and April 6 in mainland Europe. The album was recorded at Cellar Studio in Rome with producer Stefano Morabito and is the follow up to 2010's acclaimed Paradogma.
US melodic death metal outfit The Black Dahlia Murder will be hitting the road this March marking the band's first headline run of 2012. Joining them will be Nile, Skeletonwitch, and Hour Of Penance. The tour kicks off on March 24th in Grand Rapids, MI, at The Intersection and wraps up on April 20th in Worcester Mass at the New England Metal & Hardcore festival. Tickets for the upcoming tour will go on sale starting this Saturday, January 21st.
Prosthetic Records is pleased to announce the signing of Italian death metal band Hour Of Penance to the label.
Currently writing their Prosthetic debut , Hour Of Penance will again spread their plague of destruction across the clubs and festivals of Europe as part of a major tour throughout June and July with Deicide, Belphegor and The Amenta.
Hour Of Penance commented on the signing: "This is a very important opportunity for Hour of Penance and a big reward for almost 10 years of activity of this band. We're very proud to be part of the Prosthetic records family and we're eager to start working with such a great label. A new label, a new line-up and of course a new album which is obviously in the works and will be recorded soon... expect a new Hour Of Penance album this year and of course be prepared! We will tour as much as we can in 2011!"
The new lineup of Italian brutal death metal outfit Hour Of Penance has been revealed. The new members are Paolo Pieri (Aborym, Malfeitor) on vocals and Simone Piras (Ancient Skin, Verbo Nero, Goregonik) on drums.
The band currently consists of:
Vocals: Paolo "Hell-IO-Kabbalus" Pieri
Guitar: Giulio Moschini
Bass: Silvano "Nightorn" Leone
Drums: Simone "Arconda" Piras
Former vocalist Francesco Paoli had left the band after a conflict with drummer Mauro Mercurio earlier this year, after which the band hired the new vocalist and drummer who both have been kept secret until their live premiere on the kick-off date of the Initiation Of The Misled Tour with Psycroptic and Cephalic Carnage two days ago. A review with pictures of the new lineup's live premiere can be found at this location.
We're disastrously late with this report, but just in case you haven't heard, vocalist Francesco Paoli has left Hour Of Penance right after a few unfortunate (read: fucked up) events.
It all started when the band had to cancel the remaining dates of their European Tour. When the band were ready to play at the "Coyote Ugly" venue in Alicante, Spain, it became apparent that drummer Mauro Mercurio wasn't able to play (due to intoxication), so the band cancelled their set. Then, employees of the venue started grabbing the band's equipment and other belongings, and the police were called in.
Turns out that before going on stage, Mauro Mercurio had smashed a 50-inch flat-screen TV, among other things damaging the place. Mercurio was detained for 48 hours at the police station (his ID had been stolen by the venue's employees), before the whole band made it back home to Italy, forcing them to cancel the last 3 shows of the tour in Spain.
Hour Of Penance will hit the European soil for almost 3 weeks in late April/May to promote the new album Paradogma out on Unique Leader on March 30th in the US and on March 31st in the rest of the world. The band will also take part in two of the most extreme European festivals including the Dutch Neurotic Deathfest and the UK Deathfest respectively on april 30th and May 2nd.

Hour Of Penance are poised to strike and devastate the ears of the loyal disciples of death metal once more with a merciless master class in brutality entitled Paradogma brought into inception at the legendary 16th Cellar Studios and mastered at the Hertz Studios in Poland.
Italian metallers Hour Of Penance have issued the following update on their MySpace blog:
"Hour Of Penance will enter "16th Cellar" studio in Rome on August 27th with Stefano Morabito as sound engineer to start tracking the instruments of their fourth yet untitled new album, follower of the highly acclaimed 2008's "The Vile Conception" released by the renowned Unique Leader Records.
Commented frontman and guitar player Giulio Moschini: "After less then a year of songwriting we're finally ready to hit the studio and record the new album. We're very satisfied with the results of the songwriting sessions, everything went smooth and all the songs came out in a spontaneous way. We have enough material to record almost two albums but as we did with the previous album "The Vile Conception", only the best 10 songs will appear on the new opus. This time we will work with Stefano Morabito to get a more "live" approach and a more natural sound to the new album which will embrace a lot of new and different features from the past releases. I'm sure our loyal fans will not be disappointed when they hear the final result!"
Guitarist Giulio Moschini of Italian brutal death metal band Hour Of Penance has posted the following update:
"After an almost three-years long hiatus, Hour Of Penance welcomes back the former guitarist and founder Enrico, who apparently got tired of the cold and dark Norwegian life... The band is now back as a quintet and will perform for the first time with the renowned line-up at the Armageddon In The Park Festival on August 1st. Join us there!"
