Iconic thrash metallers Megadeth revealed today the title of their upcoming album due to be released in June 2013. Super Collider was the chosen name for the fourteenth full-length studio album. Megadeth's Super Collider is the first release through Mustaine's new label, Tradecraft, to be distributed worldwide by Universal Music Enterprises.
Megadeth have begun the mixing stages of their still untitled new album and shared some new studio footage with all the members from the band recording parts at Vic's Garage studio in San Marcos, California during mid-January 2013. The thrash metal band has recorded 11 songs so far.
American thrash metal legends Megadeth announced that they have parted company with Roadrunner Records through band leader Dave Mustaine who tweeted: "Today marks the end of an era with Roadrunner. Hopefully we can finish strong with a Grammy."
After releasing Th1rt3en last year, Megadeth will begin recording their upcoming 14th album next week. The band will be working with producer Johnny K. once again.
According to Venia-Mag.net, the final evening (June 5) of the first ever Croatian Metalfest Open Air ended up pretty badly for headliners Megadeth, who were forced to reduce their set after being thrown rocks at. The crowd is said to have been devastated because W.A.S.P. and Dark Tranquillity cancelled their sets due to technical problems and blamed Megadeth for it. Reportedly, W.A.S.P. and Megadeth had some arguments that led to the cancellation of the shows and the fans didn't approve of this.

US alternative/industrial metallers Rob Zombie have announced that the band will enter the studio in June to begin recording their next album, which is set for a late 2012 release.
Rob Zombie recently stated: "It has been way, and I mean way too long without any new music. I am dying to get back to it. I have not felt this much excitement within the band since recording the first Hellbilly Deluxe record almost 15 years ago. We have been working on tons of songs for quite some time and I can safely say this will definitely be our best record yet."

Megadeth's "Public Enemy No. 1", the 2011 single from the band's latest album Th1rt3en, has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance category for the 54th Annual Grammy Awards. Megadeth is nominated along with Dream Theater, Foo Fighters, Mastodon and Sum 41. This is Megadeth's 10th Grammy nomination. The awards will be broadcast Sunday, February 12th, 2012 on CBS.
