Negură Bunget have released a new video for one of the songs on their latest opus, Tău. The song is called "La Hotaru Cu Cinci Culmi" and you can watch the video below. The video drops just in time for the start of their North American tour. However, their singer Tibor Kati was denied the US visa and so drummer Gabriel Mafa/Negru and bass player Ovidiu Corodan are taking partly charge of vocal duties, with the help of fellow tour partners Dynfari stepping up as well.
Negură Bunget are currently in an extensive European trek to promote their new album Tău but they have had to face some setbacks along the way. After their gig in Sofia, Bulgaria, their van was broken into and they stole a lot of equipment including laptops, iPads and in-ear monitoring. Despite the equipment stolen, Negură Bunget still managed to pull through all the difficulties, making it to the shows.
When their new album Tău is mere days away from its official release, Negură Bunget have decided to share another new song online. The group presents a video for the tune "Schimniceste" which is the epic final song on the record. The images for the clip were filmed on various locations on Apuseni and Retezat Mountains. The video was directed again by Daniel Dorobatu (who's in charge of the whole visual content of Negură Bunget's Transilvanain Trilogy). Did this new song please you? Archetapes Industries, a new underground label, specialized in cassette releases, announced the release of Negură Bunget's masterpiece OM, for first time in pro-tape format. It will be limited to only 100 hand-numbered copies, in green tinted pro-tape. It was mastered specifically for analogue format and also features a 3 panel booklet with the original artwork.
