The Dubai-based Death Metal band Nervecell have released the new official video for "Shunq (To The Despaired... King Of Darkness)", which features the legendary Karl Sanders from the North American band Nile, making a guest appearance on vocals. The song appears on the band's latest album Psychogenocide, released on Lifeforce Records (Europe) and Spellbind Records (Middle East). The video was shot in the city of Al-Ain, United Arab Emirates. It was directed by Shane De Almeida and edited by Ahmad Al Sharif.

Nervecell - Entire New Album Streaming Online
Psychogenocide, the new album of Dubai-based death-thrashers Nervecell, is now available for streaming in its entirety on the band's Facebook page. The stream will only be available until April 30th.
Psychogenocide was released on March 31st in the Middle East through Spellbind Records. The album will be released on April 29th in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and on May 2nd in the rest of Europe through Lifeforce Records. More album details were previously reported over here.

Karl Sanders - To Guest On New Nervecell Album
As previously reported, Psychogenocide, the new album of Dubai based death-thrashers Nervecell, will be released on March 31st in the Middle East through Spellbind Records, on April 29th in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and on May 2nd in the rest of Europe through Lifeforce Records. The album will feature the guest vocals of Nile guitarist/vocalist Karl Sanders.
Comments the band: "We are extremely proud to announce that Karl Sanders will be a part of our new album Psychogenocide as guest vocals on the song entitled "Shunq (To The Despaired... King Of Darkness)".
This particular song is special to the band as it will mark the first extreme metal track ever to include both Arabic lyrics mixed in with English lyrics, and who better else to have come on board and collaborate on this theme with us than the legendary Karl Sanders!
The word "Shunq" in Arabic has two meanings: to choke or to be hung by the neck. The song consists mainly of ideas and knowledge gathered from sources that speak about Lucifer and the demons that serve him. The song "Shunq (To The Despaired... King Of Darkness)" speaks about the battle of us humans and these demons in reality, in the end Satan himself brought forth to justice.

Dubai based death-thrashers Nervecell have set Psychogenocide as the title of their long-awaited new album, due for release late March 2011 in Europe through Lifeforce Records and Spellbind Records for the Middle East. The artwork has been a concept, which the band have been working on for quite a while they are extremely proud of how it has turned out, perfectly matching the aggression and musical direction of the new album. The artwork was designed by Killustrations (Aborted, Severe Torture, Zyklon) and can be viewed below.
Psychogenocide is scheduled to be mixed and mastered at Hertz Studios (Behemoth, Decapitated, Vader) in Warsaw, Poland by the Wieslawscy Bros. This will mark the follow-up to Nervecell's first full-length Preaching Venom which was released on October 26th 2009 via Lifeforce Records. The new songs are sounding aggressive, fast and dark! The fans can expect a heavy dosage of old-school death metal, modern thrash metal, intertwined with a touch of Eastern melodies and brutality.

"We are really thrilled that the writing process for the new album has been successfully completed and the band is eager to enter the studio next month and start recording. We've been working really hard on this record through out this year and in between the tours we've had in Europe and Asia. All the pre-production for the songs are done and we're very happy with how everything has turned out for us so far.
The new songs are sounding aggressive, fast and dark! The fans can expect a heavy dosage of old school death metal, modern thrash metal, intertwined with our touch of Eastern melodies and brutality. Nervecell, the UAE death metal veterans have announced the India tour dates in the first appearance of a middle-eastern band in India, Headlining three shows at the following dates;

Nervecell's Lifeforce debut will be the release of the band's album "Preaching Venom" outside the Middle East on October 26th in Europe (North America - tba).
"After months of discussions, negotiations and debates on seeking a secure label for our latest album "Preaching Venom", and the future of Nervecell during these difficult times in the record industry, the long awaited chase has indeed come to an end. We are extremely proud to announce that Nervecell has now officially signed to Lifeforce Records and to say that we are thrilled about it is the understatement of the year!" comments guitarist Barney Ribeiro.
"We honestly feel that this new relationship with Lifeforce is a great accomplishment and one that many once thought was impossible for a metal band based in the Middle East; but as the Nervecell legacy will tell, we are no strangers to breaking boundaries and crushing the limitations that we have constantly faced during the last 9 years in our career as a Dubai based death metal band. Having said that, to be the first band originating from Dubai to ever be on a label is a pretty cool bonus and yet another record broken!

Dubai-based death/thrash act Nervecell have been confirmed for this year's With Full Force Festival. With Full Force XVI is scheduled for July 3rd - 5th, 2009 at Flugplatz/Roitzschjora in Löbnitz, Germany. Other confirmed bands include: Carcass, Legion Of The Damned, Warbringer, Asphyx, Amon Amarth, Dimmu Borgir and My Dying Bride. For more information go to this location.

Nervecell - New Video Posted Online
United Arab Emirates-based death metallers Nervecell have posted there new official video "Demean" online. The track comes off the band's latest album, "Preaching Venom", which was released last April. The video can be watched here. The video was filmed and directed by Ahmad "That Guy" Sharif.
In other news, Nervecell recently confirmed for Dubai Desert Rock Festival 2009, and issued the following comment on their official Myspace: "We are proud to announce that Nervecell will be performing at Dubai Desert Rock Festival 2009 along with Motörhead, Opeth, Arch Enemy, Chimaira and August Burns Red which is set to take place on March 6, 2009 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
We are really excited to be invited once again to play next year's Desert Rock Festival as it has always proven to be a blast playing with such killer bands for our home crowd in Dubai.
