Suicide Silence are releasing a new album next year! The deathcore band now fronted by Eddie Hermida released You Can't Stop Me back in 2014 but their new and self-titled record is dropping next year in February. The album has been completed and on SiriusXM this weekend, the band officially revealed that their fifth studio album was produced by Ross Robinson.
Eyehategod will have a familiar face filling in for vocalist Mike IX Williams on their upcoming North American tour. None other than Randy Blythe of Lamb Of God fame. The sludge metal band cancelled tour dates last year and also a European tour in July/August this year. However, it looks like their upcoming tour with Discharge and Toxic Holocaust is a go.

The follow-up to Come The Thaw is coming. Worm Ouroboros just announced that they will release a new album titled What Graceless Dawn through Profound Lore Records on December 2nd. This new album was recorded and mixed at Earhammer Studios by Greg Wilkinson and features artwork by bassist/vocalist Lorraine Rath. But there is more good news. The subject of a White Zombie reunion was the result of frontman Rob Zombie's recent performance of the band's final album Astro Creep: 2000 - Songs Of Love, Destruction And Other Synthetic Delusions Of The Electric Head (1995) live in its entirety at Chicago's Riot Fest, which took place last weekend. However, Rob told in a recent interview that the reason a White Zombie reunion hasn't happened is because "there's no reason to do it."
Good news for Benighted fans just in! The French death metal machine has finished the recording process for their next crushing full-length at Germany's renowned Kohlekeller Studio. According to the band, the forthcoming album and successor to Carnivore Sublime will be their "most brutal and sickest work of violence yet". The release is expected in early 2017.

The group, whose first major UK arena tour for six years will be announced tomorrow, September 23rd, have gone to great lengths to ensure their fans are able to buy tickets at the intended price rather than at the ludicrously inflated prices prevalent on many secondary ticketing sites and also to protect them against counterfeit tickets.

By now, you have probably heard about how Darkthrone's Fenriz was accidentally elected to local town council. The musician is now a backup representative for his local town council in Kolbotn, Norway. The funny part about it is that he was involuntarily elected to his new political position. His campaign was a picture of him holding his cat saying, 'Please don't vote for me.' He has now taken to Facebook to comment on the entertaining story.

The organizers of The Power Of The Riff just announced a two-day festival event to take place in Los Angeles this December, featuring headliners Neurosis and Wolves In The Throne Room. The event that will celebrate the power of the riff is confirmed to take place on Saturday, December 17th and Sunday, December 18th at LA's Regent Theatre.
Peaceville Records will release the 10th anniversary edition of SikTh's opus Death Of A Dead Day on double heavyweight LP and CD. Following the release on Peaceville of their mini album Opacities, their first new music since their acclaimed 2006 sophomore album Death Of A Dead Day, Peaceville will be re-releasing the album on the 10th anniversary of its original release on 30th September 2016.
Skyclad has a new label. The legendary folk metallers have joined forces with French label Listenable Records. Eager fans will be pleased to know that the material that the band has been working on will be released next year as a full-length record. Their last album came out in the distant year of 2009, In The... All Together. Skyclad's yet unnamed first album on Listenable Records is scheduled for a release in Spring 2017. It will be the band's 13th studio album and marks the return of guitarist Dave Pugh to Skyclad's line-up as a permanent member.
