Archetapes Industries, a new underground label, specialized in cassette releases, announced the release of Negură Bunget's masterpiece OM, for first time in pro-tape format. It will be limited to only 100 hand-numbered copies, in green tinted pro-tape. It was mastered specifically for analogue format and also features a 3 panel booklet with the original artwork.

Devil's Highway is a new supergroup featuring vocalist Kyle Thomas (Trouble, Exhorder), guitarist Ralph Santolla (Deicide, Obituary, Death), bassist Steve DiGiorgio (Testament, Sadus), guitarist Matt Brunson (Crowbar, Kingdom Of Sorrow), and drummer Tony Laureano (Dimmu Borgir, Nile). The band has begun recording its debut album at Vulture Lounge in Tampa, Florida and DDT Studios in New Orleans, Louisiana. Santolla is handling production duties and their debut album is expected to be completed in December for an early 2015 release.
After a four-year wait, veteran Brazilian thrashers Korzus have announced they'll be releasing a new album on October 24th through AFM Records. Coming a year after the band celebrated its 30th anniversary, Legion will be the Paulistanos' sixth full-length effort, following on from 2010's Discipline Of Hate. American metallers Megadeth were among the bands confirmed for Motörhead's first annual cruise MotörBoat. Unfortunately, due to Dave Mustaine's health issues, the band had to withdraw from the line-up. Heavy metal all-star band Metal Allegiance - including Megadeth's David Ellefson and Chris Broderick - has been added to the Motörboat music lineup.
The Finnish melodic metal band Amorphis are hitting the road in late December in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their 1994 legendary release Tales From The Thousand Lakes. The Swedish band Avatarium is joining them on this celebration.

Former Iron Maiden singer Paul Di'Anno's April 9th performance at Lizard Club in Krakow, Poland as part of the Doładowanie festival, was professionally filmed for an upcoming DVD, titled The Beast Arises. It will be released on October 6th in Europe through Metal Mind Productions and October 7th in North America via MVD. The Beast Arises will also be made available on CD and vinyl. Since 2013, Italian stoner/doom metallers Ufomammut have been slowly working on a video project which will be released on DVD this October via the band's Supernatural Cat Records. The DVD features over 3 hours of live footage, interviews and outtakes: a documentary about these first15 years of the band called XV and also Magickal Mastery Live, a 12-song live act.
