Horror metal outfit Cadaveria has revealed the details of their new album Silence, due out on November 18th via Scarlet Records. Silence follows the previous album Horror Metal, released in 2012 on Bakerteam Records. You can see below the cover that will grace the album, the tracklist and more.

Ensiferum have been locked away in Astia Studio in Lappeenranta in Finland with producer Anssi Kippo for three weeks. Drums, bass and most of the guitar parts have been recorded for their new album which is tentatively scheduled for release worldwide on Metal Blade Records in early 2015. At the end of last week, guest musician Timo Väänänen tracked some takes with his kantele (see below), and over the weekend, vocalist Petri Lindroos began tracking vocals. It's almost done.
Finnish melodic death metallers Omnium Gatherum have been forced to cancel the shows they were going to do in Japan due to a heavy breach in contract from the tour organizer and Metal Asia Agency. The band is devastated but promises that they will perform in Japan in the future.
Following the announcement of a new album, the progressive supergroup Soen have now revealed the tracklist for their upcoming sophomore record Tellurian, which is set for a release date of November 3rd via Spinefarm Records. The band have also unveiled a new video/single for one of these tracks entitled "Tabula Rasa."
Prosthetic Records has recently announced the signing of the Denver-based atmospheric metal quartet Wayfarer. Formed in 2012, the band began working on their full-length debut Children Of The Iron Age, which is now tentatively scheduled for a November release.

You might remember that Metallica released the film Some Kind Of Monster years ago featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes as they confronted personal demons and their relationships with each other while recording their album St. Anger. That included a conversation with former guitarist Dave Mustaine (Megadeth). Now the band is re-releasing Some Kind Of Monster on November 24th, 2014 in two-disc Blu-ray and DVD sets that include Metallica: This Monster Lives, a 25-minute follow-up piece, and it will also be available digitally and via Video On Demand.
There is a new band in town called Necromancing The Stone. It features James Malone (Arsis) on guitar, Ryan 'Bart' Williams (ex-The Black Dahlia Murder) on bass, Jeramie Kling (The Absence) on drums, Justin Wood (Brimstone Coven) on guitar, and John Williams (Brimstone Coven) on vocals. The good thing is that you can already hear music from Necromancing The Stone because they just released the song "From Graves To Infamy" for streaming.
Former Iron Maiden singer Paul Di'Anno's April 9th performance at Lizard Club in Krakow, Poland as part of the Doładowanie festival, was professionally filmed for an upcoming DVD, titled The Beast Arises. After sharing online a clip of the performance of the song "Charlotte The Harlot" from the DVD, you can now see below another preview, this time of the track "Running Free".

Archetapes Industries, a new underground label, specialized in cassette releases, announced the release of Negură Bunget's masterpiece OM, for first time in pro-tape format. It will be limited to only 100 hand-numbered copies, in green tinted pro-tape. It was mastered specifically for analogue format and also features a 3 panel booklet with the original artwork.
