The London-based post-metallers Tacoma Narrows Bridge Disaster have a new album out called Wires/Dream\Wires available as a 6-panel digipack CD. The full-length contains 9 new tracks and clocks at around 60 minutes. You can now listen to it in its entirety at Bandcamp. Enjoy their new album!
Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant Thursday at the California home of Gene Simmons, but the Kiss bassist/vocalist and his family are not considered suspects. The rocker's publicist said the police visit was connected with a crime that may have occurred on the property last year while Simmons was away touring with Kiss.
Bad news arrive from Insomnium. The Finns are currently touring in North America with Omnium Gatherum but are cancelling their upcoming European tour they had planned with Wolfheart. The band will still be playing a three-gig tour in Belarus and Russia in November (5-7.11) and all the booked one-off shows including Metal Hammer awards gig in Berlin (18.9), Geiselwind Christmas Bash (11.12) and 70000 Tons Of Metal 2016 cruise in next February. And they promise that they will be back in full strength.
Weeping Birth, the brutal black/death metal project of Vladimir Cochet (Mirrorthrone), has unveiled the artwork of its upcoming and long-awaited album, The Crushed Harmony, to be released on November 16th via Apathia Records. Seven long years after the monolith of brutality Anosognosic Industry Of The I, Vladimir Cochet releases a new Weeping Birth album. The Crushed Harmony is an especially dense 32-minute act, mixing limitless death metal aggressiveness and grievous black metal atmospheres.
It has been a while since Rage Against The Machine released a live album (or any album for that matter) but that is about to change. On September 11th, 2015, Eagle Rock Entertainment releases Live At Finsbury Park by Rage Against The Machine. This is a simultaneous release on DVD, Blu-ray and digital formats. Chthe'ilist will be releasing their debut album next year, it has been announced. The Canadian death metallers will finally release a follow-up to their demo Amechth'ntaas'm'rriachth. Their debut full-length, Le Dernier Crépuscule, will be mixed by Greg Chandler of Esoteric in the coming weeks, and will be mastered by Brad Boatright at the end of the month. The release date, tracklist and painting by Paolo Girardi will be revealed later. The album will have about 50 minutes of music and will be released by Profound Lore Records (CD/digital), Dark Descent Records (vinyl) and Graceless Recordings (cassette).
Polish heavy/black metal legends Kat & Roman Kostrzewski have announced that they will release a rerecorded version of Kat's 1986 debut album 666. It has been 29 years since it was released for the first time. You can preorder the album on CD or vinyl through the label Mystic Production store right now. it will be made available on September 11th.
Finns Omnium Gatherum, who have just started the North American tour with fellow countrymen Insomnium, premiere a brand new song, entitled "Skyline", taken from the band's upcoming (yet untitled) new album due out in February of 2016 on Lifeforce Records. The band confirmed that the work on the follow-up to 2011's Omnivium is finished. The new album was produced by V. Santura. More details will be revealed in the following weeks.
