Misery Signals are embarking on a special trek this summer. They recently announced that they will be playing a limited amount of shows in July and August. These shows will feature their original lineup of Jesse Zaraska, Ryan Morgan, Branden Morgan, Kyle Johnson, and Stuart Ross.
This could be interesting for Arch Enemy fans. The original line-up of the band will reunite and perform Arch Enemy's first three albums material live on stage as Black Earth. An extensive tour of Japan in May was announced today! Last year, Arch Enemy performed at Loudpark in Japan and during that show the group was joined on stage by the rest of the original founding members, singer Johan Liiva and guitarist Christopher Amott. The original lineup made the band's classic first three albums: Black Earth, Stigmata and Burning Bridges; the exception being bassist Sharlee D'Angelo who only joined in 1999 but has been in the band ever since.
Norwegian progressive black metallers Borknagar are happy to announce that original vocalist Kristoffer "Garm" Rygg (Ulver) is to guest on two tracks of the band's upcoming album, due out this fall through Century Media. The as-yet-untitled album will be mixed in June by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studio.
US technical death metal giants Origin will team up with Brazilian death metal trio Krisiun for an extensive co-headlining trek across North America this fall. 'Devastation On The Nation Tour' will also include Aeon, Alterbeast, Soreption, and Ingested as support, making this a must-see show for all death metal sympathizers. Finland's Amoral announced what they had been teasing the day before: singer Niko Kalliojärvi has returned to the band after a seven year absence. The progressive band is now a six-piece again. Kalliojärvi's return has been cooking up since last year, and he will be largely present on the band's 7th studio album, on which they are currently working on, with an early 2016 release planned.
1349 are bringing their black metal to the masses in the U.S. on their Chaos Raids USA 2015. Furthermore, they are taking with them Origin, Abysmal Dawn and Wolvhammer on this trek. 1349 will be presenting their new album Massive Cauldron Of Chaos which was released this year.

Doom metallers The Wounded Kings released a new album this year called Consolamentum. However, the band is now facing a line-up change as singer Sharie Neyland decided to leave for personal reasons. The Wounded Kings have brought back original vocalist George Birch who will join the band on their European tour. Sharie Neyland had been with the band since 2011.
