Israeli progressive folk metal band Orphaned Land has just released the first taste off their new album. You can finally hear a piece of what the band has come up with since The Never Ending Way Of ORwarriOR was released in 2010. Watch the lyric video for the song "Our Own Messiah" below now. The song is from their upcoming new album All Is One that will be released on June 24th in Europe and June 25th in North America under Century Media Records.
By now, we already know that Orphaned Land will be releasing the follow-up to their mammoth album The Never Ending Way Of ORwarriOR this year but today we learn more about it. Today the band revealed the cover artwork for All Is One created by the French artist Metastazis (Paradise Lost, As I Lay Dying, Sonne Adam, Watain), incorporating the three signs of the biggest religions as one. Prog metallers Orphaned Land will be bringing their music to European shores once again as they have announced their upcoming European All Is One headline tour. From September to November, the Israeli group will be presenting their new studio album All Is One, surfacing on June 24th in Europe (USA June 25th). Before heading on the headline tour, Orphaned Land will play in a few festivals and shows in South America, as well as European festivals.
Orphaned Land have set All Is One as the title of their next album which they will release in June, almost three years after their latest prog masterpiece The Never Ending Way Of ORwarriOR. The group is in the final process of recording the new album and still hasn't given us audio teases at this point.
Good news from the Orphaned Land camp. The progressive metal band has just started the recordings for their brand new album in Istanbul. No release date is set as of now and not much is known about the upcoming release yet but the band will do recording sessions in Sweden, Turkey and Israel. The band's latest album, The Never Ending Way Of ORwarriOR, came out in 2010.
Israeli progressive metallers Orphaned Land have prepared a treat for their fans this Saturday, December 8th. The band's show in Tel Aviv Harbor, Israel, will be broadcast live at 20:00 GMT or 22:00 (Middle East time) via CultureBuzz - Israel. The band even created a small video inviting fans for the event, which can be seen below.
Israeli progressive metal band Orphaned Land is encouraging fans to sign a petition (created by a fan of the band) submitted to the Norwegian Nobel Committee to consider them for the 2013 Nobel Peace Prize, in case you think they are worthy of such a prize.
Matti Svatizky has decided to part ways with the long-running Israeli metal proggers Orphaned Land. One of the original founders of the band, Matti has issued the following statement: "To all of Orphaned Land's fans, from this moment on I will no longer be a part of the band."
Jordanian doom/death metallers Bilocate have announced that they will be supporting Israeli folk-oriental metallers Orphaned Land on their upcoming tour through Turkey in February. The band will play four dates: in Istanbul, Izmir, Eskisehir and Ankara. Pre-sale tickets are available here. Proceeds from the Istanbul show will be donated to the survivors of the Van Earthquake.

Special guests on The Tour To OR Shalem are French/Algerian/Moroccan oriental Metal band Arkan, Tunisian progressive metal band Myrath and French punk rockers ArtWeg.
Arkan have finished the recordings of their sophomore album, Salam (trans: Peace). The follow-up to 2008's Hilal will be released on April 18th through Season Of Mist.
The French/Algerian/Moroccan melodic death metal band with Middle Eastern influences has revealed that Orphaned Land mainman Kobi Farhi will make a guest appearance on the album.
The album was produced by Fredrik Nordström at Fredman Studio, who made the following comment: "With this album Arkan excel in their art of mixing metal and Arabic music. The result is close to a masterpiece and these guys are its amazing conductors."
"Arabic music brings endless inspiration and with Salam we are only beginning", the band adds.
The show of Israeli metal band Orphaned Land at Sonisphere Istanbul had to be cancelled due to the ongoing crisis between Turkey and Israel after the Gaza flotilla raid. The band has posted the following statement on the official website:
"Merhaba, shalom & salam to all our beloved fans & friends.
2 weeks ago, we were the happiest band on earth when we were announced to Sonisphere Istanbul, we all waited for this moment for so long.
Then, a political fucked up crisis started between our countries and a whole chaos started to go on and unfortunately still goes on till that moments.
After a few days of rumors we were sadly announced today that the security company who is responsible of the festival cannot guarantee our safety during the fest and therefore our show had to be delayed from this year…
Katatonia will return to North America in September/October. Support on the tour will come from Swallow The Sun and Orphaned Land.
