Returning to North America for the second run in support of their thirteenth studio album Phantom Antichrist, German thrash overlords Kreator will launch a co-headlining tour this fall with New York thrashers Overkill through the U.S. and Canada. Opening each night will be California's Warbringer in a tour rightfully dubbed Legends Of Thrash Tour.
Sad news for the Overkill fans in the US. Unfortunately, the band was forced to cancel the remaining shows on the Dark Roots Of Thrash Tour in February due to an illness in the band. Vocalist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth is suffering from pneumonia. However, Overkill promise that after some time for recovery they will be back out in the spring for their Northern European tour.
US thrash veterans Overkill have announced their first Northern Europe run in a long time, also including several dates in Finland where the band hasn't really toured in almost 30 years. The tour is scheduled for April/May next year and all of the dates can be seen below.
Thrashers Overkill have recently announced the dates of the European run for this year's Killfest tour in October. The band takes The Electric Age in their bag and will be accompanied by special guests 3 Inches Of Blood and Purified In Blood.
"Electric Rattlesnake", the brand new video from US thrashers Overkill has premiered and is available for viewing below. It was directed by Kevin J. Custer (Hatebreed, Testament, Suffocation), who previously worked with Overkill on the "Bring Me The Night" video. The song comes off their newly released album The Electric Age.

US thrash metallers Overkill have announced that The Electric Age will be the title of the band's upcoming album, due to be released on March 27th via eOne Music and March 30th in Europe via Nuclear Blast Records. The Electric Age was recorded and mixed at Gain Studios in New Jersey, owned and operated by bassist D.D. Verni. This will be the band's follow-up to 2010's Ironbound.
Good news for all thrashers! Overkill are hosting another edition of their infamous Killfest Tours. Embarking on a European trek in March 2011, Overkill will be supported by Teutonic thrashers Destruction and Bay Area thrash band Heathen. Special guests will be also announced in the near future.

Veteran thrashers Overkill have announced their first ever appearances on Australian soil. The band will be touring along the East coast for three dates in September. The tour is part of their Killfest 2010 25th Anniversary World Tour which has been through Europe and the USA. Supporting Overkill will be the experienced Australian Thrash Metallers Mortal Sin. NJ Thrash legends Overkill have announced their signature 25th Anniversary tour entitled Killfest 2010. The tour will span the length of the US, hitting spots in Canada with one final show at New York City's Nokia Theater. Support duties coming from Vader, God Dethroned, Warbringer, Evile and Woe Of Tyrants.

The band's new record, Ironbound will be available on CD and vinyl, and is set for release on February 9, 2010. Ironbound celebrates the band's monumental 25-year anniversary.
Overkill have signed to Nuclear Blast Records for a multi-release deal (world excl. North America). The first offering will be available early 2010 titled Ironbound - a true "thrasher-piece".
