In 2019, the band reconvened in the studio and is now ready to release their fifth studio album, to be entitled Necromancy. The record will include seven original songs, making up nearly 50 minutes of new music. More details to be revealed.

The band is currently in the mixing stage. More details and infos to follow. Additonally, Persuader announced that Fredrik Hedström has decided to retire from bass duties. Fredrik was part of the group from the very beginning in 1997.

The fourth Persuader album The Fiction Maze will be released in Europe on January 17th and in North America on January 21st through Inner Wound Recordings. PERSUADER's new label, Dockyard 1, is preparing to re-release the band's debut album from 2000, The Hunter. This new version will include several bonus tracks. It will be released on August 29th.

Songwriting for the band's next album is nearing completion. They are expected to enter the studio soon.

As previously reported, Persuader vocalist Jens Carlsson and guitarist Emil Norberg are also part of SAVAGE CIRCUS, the new band kicked off by former BLIND GUARDIAN drummer Thomen Stauch. The debut album, Dreamland Manor, will be released on August 29th through Dockyard 1.
