Quiet Riot - New Record In The Making

After the death of longtime drummer Frankie Banali over 18 months ago, and announcing their reunion with bassist Rudy Sarzo last summer, Quiet Riot frontman Jizzy Pearl revealed that the band has been working on a new album. The follow-up to 2019's Hollywood Cowboys will not only include new music, but also some unreleased drum work from Banali, similar to 2014's 10 which had new studio tracks and re-recordings of previously released material.

Quiet Riot - Bassist Rudy Sarzo Returns After 18 Years

Veterans Quiet Riot welcome Rudy Sarzo back into the band after an 18-year absence. Rudy was one of the original founding members of the legendary Metal Health line-up. He played bass on the "Metal Health" album, which sold over ten million copies. He also toured with the band until 1985 and again from 1997 to 2003. During his years out of the band, Rudy Sarzo was a member of Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Dio, Blue Öyster Cult and Geoff Tate's Queensrÿche.

Quiet Riot - Announce 2021 And 2022 Tour Dates

Quiet Riot have announced its first U.S. tour dates since the death of their longtime drummer Frankie Banali last August, who had been a member of the band occasionally since 1982, and was replaced by Danzig and former Type O Negative drummer Johnny Kelly. The band also plans to release new music next year, which will include some of Banali's contributions.

Quiet Riot - Drummer Frankie Banali Passed Away

Long time Quiet Riot and also former W.A.S.P. (between 1989 - 1995 and 2001 - 2004) drummer Frankie Banali passed away at the age of 68, following a recent stroke. Banali was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer last year and went through no less than twenty rounds of chemotherapy prior to his passing.

Quiet Riot - Announce First Concert Film

If you want some hard rock, you should check out the upcoming Quiet Riot live album, One Night In Milan. Their performance at the Frontiers Rock Festival 2018 marked the band's first-ever concert in Italy. This special event is now being released on CD/DVD and Blu-ray. This once-in-a-lifetime performance will be released January 25th, 2019 via Frontiers Music Srl. This is also their first concert film.

A new "supergroup" is among us with the formation of Rough Riot, which features former members of Quiet Riot and Rough Cutt. The new group consists of lead vocalist Paul Shortino (Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot), guitarists Chris Hager (Mickey Ratt, Rough Cutt, Stephen Pearcy) and Carlos Cavazo (Quiet Riot, Ratt), bassist Sean McNabb (Quiet Riot, Lynch Mob, Dokken, Rough Cutt) and drummer Dave Alford (Rough Cutt).

Quiet Riot - Stream New Song

New song alert! Quiet Riot have shared a new song from the upcoming offering, Road Rage. Mark your calendars for August 4th. The record was originally scheduled for release in the spring of 2017, but with the injection of newfound energy with the addition of American Idol alumni James Durbin, the band decided to scrap the original sessions and record a new version of the album. You can hear "Wasted" below featuring their new vocalist.

Quiet Riot - James Durbin Introduced As New Singer

Heavy metallers Quiet Riot have announced yet another change in the frontman position. "American Idol" alumnus James Durbin has replaced Seann Nicols as the singer of the band. Nicols was with Quiet Riot for just a few months, but long enough to record the vocals for the band's upcoming album, Road Rage (due April 21st on Frontiers Music). The California-born singer James Durbin, who placed fourth on Idol, will make his live debut March 18th in Wichita, Kansas as the band does a few North American dates during the next two months.

Quiet Riot - Release New Album, Trailer Online

US unit Quiet Riot recently announced new details surrounding their first album to feature lead vocalist Jizzy Pearl (ex-L.A. Guns, Ratt). The album 10 features ten previously unreleased recordings, comprised of six new songs featuring newly appointed lead vocalist Jizzy Pearl and four tracks from the last professionally recorded shows with original frontman Kevin DuBrow.

Quiet Riot - Find New Vocalist

Quiet Riot announced Scott Vokoun last year as their new vocalist, but that didn't last long. They have now confirmed the addition of former L.A. Guns and Ratt vocalist Jizzy Pearl to the band. He will perform his debut Quiet Riot show on New Year's Eve, December 31st in Flagstaff, Arizona. Moreover, the band is in the studio at the moment preparing their next album to follow Rehab.
