Avenged Sevenfold - Releasing 'Waking The Fallen: Resurrected'

Avenged Sevenfold have announced a new release. Eleven years after the original release date, Waking The Fallen: Resurrected will be out August 26th on Hopeless Records. The new release includes 11 never before heard songs, 23 total tracks, new artwork, the original first cut of the music video for "Unholy Confessions" and a 30-minute film featuring never before seen archived footage up to the present day band, directed and edited by Rafa Alcantara. Resurrected - Reveal New EP Details

Morbus, the upcoming new EP from German brutal death metallers Resurrected, is set to be mixed at the end of this month by Jörg Uken at Soundlodge Recording Studios. The EP will contain five tracks including the two new titles "Covered With Maggots" and "Bewareness Of Truth" alongside a re-recording of "Butchered In Excrement" and the two cover versions of Fear Factory's "Self Bias Resistor" and Massacre's "Dawn Of Eternity".

Resurrected - Vocalist And Drummer Leave The Band, Replacements Announced

German death metallers Resurrected have announced the departure of vocalist and founding member Carsten Scholz and drummer Hazim Fouad from the band. The band made the following announcement: "Time to tell some news next to the EP recordings from the RR-headquarter: After his long lasting disease our vocalist Carsten is still not healthy enough to do any live shows in the future so he decided to retreat in order not to constrain the band's live ambitions."

Resurrected - To Begin Recording New EP Next Week

German brutal death metallers Resurrected will enter the studio next week, on December 27th, to begin recording their new yet-untitled EP. The band posted the following short update on their MySpace page: "On December 27th we'll start to record our yet untitled EP finally. We're quite nervous to record the new stuff as the songs are really great. Hope you all love it. We'll keep you updated on the recording process with some studio reports and videos so stay tuned."

Lord Belial - Have Resurrected

One and a half years have passed since Lord Belial were put on ice... But Lord Belial has now been resurrected with the original line-up.

Resurrected - Vocalist To Sit Out Portugal Mini-Tour

German brutal death metallers Resurrected have issued the following update:

"Our singer Carsten Scholz is forced to sit out both Portugal shows in January due to a chronical pneumonia he caught at Mountains Of Death Festival this year. His current cure does not allow to grunt more than two or three songs in a row. Chris Mieves from Grind Inc. will step in for both shows and he's already exciteted doing that job! We hope Carsten is fit again by April as we plan to arrange a little UK tour then. We'll keep you updated!"

Resurrected - Ink Deal With Metal Age Productions, New Song Online

German metallers Resurrected have issued the following update on their MySpace blog:

"Negotiations were in the works for several weeks now but now it's official; after returning from Mountains Of Death festival we can finally announce that we're now part of the Metal Age Productions roster! We're very happy to have such a competent and supportive partner on our side, thanx to Peter and all of the Metal Age staff.

Our newest effort, "Fierce", will be released there in September as well as our upcoming releases."

The band adds: "Many people may have asked themselves why we didn't post some new material earlier but we wanted to wait until our new deal is finally inked.

You can now listen to one new stunning track entitled "Slumdog" from our forthcoming album "Fierce" on our MySpace page. Hope ya like it, don't hesitate to post your feedback !"

Resurrected - Recording New Album

Thomas Granzow, the guitarist of German death metalers Ressurected, has issued the following message:

"Most of you fuckers may have read it elsewhere before as I forgot to put it up on MySpace - "Fierce" is the album title for the follow-up on "Endless Sea Of Loss", cover artwork has been finished as well and was done by Plamen Kolev. Thanks to him for his patience altering his sketch a thousand times, hahaha...

Album tracks are "New Reign Rising", "Perverse Consecration", "Urge To Murder", "Tortured By Deities", "Divine Masturbation", "Hindsight", "Gunshot Victim", "Slumdog", "Mental Retardation" and "Day Of Suffering" (Morbid Angel cover version).

Mechanical Poet - Resurrected

Russian Symphonic Heavy Metal band Mechanical Poet have announced their resurrection and a change of style into the realms of rock. The band's new incarnation consists of the former members Max Samosvat (vocals) and Lex Plotnikoff (guitars) and the newly added members Evan Izotoff (bass) and Vladimir Ermakoff (drums). The band is already in recording status for the upcoming album "Creepy Tales For Freaky Children", of which the artwork can be viewed here.

Regarding the recording, the band posted the following message on the official website:

"Hello there! After several months of silence our website is finally up and running! There's a lot of cool stuff happened, but the coolest one is that we started recording our third CD "CT4FC". Drums and bass parts are already done and soon it will be time for guitars. A thousand thanks to everyone who supported and believed in us! We hope you won't be disappointed =)))"
