The power metal titans revealed today that some new material for the next studio album has been written and more songs will be written in the next few months. The band will enter the studio in March of 2015.

Rhapsody Of Fire - Release New Album Previews

Rhapsody Of Fire have just released their new studio album Dark Wings Of Steel in Europe but it will only be available on December 3rd in the US and December 25th in Japan. The album was produced by keyboardist Alex Staropoli, with all songs composed by Staropoli and Manuel Staropoli, with Roberto De Micheli. All lyrics were written by singer Fabio Lione. The effort features a full orchestra, a choir and real string instruments. You can listen to an almost seven-minute preview of all the songs that you find on the album below.

Rhapsody Of Fire's line-up, after remaining pretty much the same for a long time, now seems in constant evolution. After the departures of co-founder guitarist Luca Turilli and bassist Patrice Guers in 2011, now also Turilli's replacement, Tom Hess, left the band.

Rhapsody Of Fire - To Release Live Album

Italian symphonic metal kings Rhapsody Of Fire have announced the release of Live - From Chaos To Eternity on May 3rd in Europe (USA: May 7th) under AFM Records. The live album will be available as 2-CD digipak and as limited 3-vinyl set. The material (a mixture of old classics and newer tracks) was recorded on the band's latest European tour (Spring 2012).
