After confirming a European tour with Korpiklaani and Týr, scheduled for this November/December, the Swedes Sabaton are pleased to announce another set of European dates in early 2015. This time the official support will come from Finnish labelmates Battle Beast as well as Dutch symphonic metal band Delain. Check out the official dates down under!
And now for some more tour news. The Swedes Amon Amarth will return to North America this fall. This time around, the band will bring fellow Swedes Sabaton along for the ride. Additionally, Skeletonwitch will once again be opening the shows, except in New York where fans will be treated to the first ever, and exclusive North American performance by extreme metal group Vallenfyre.

Power metallers Sabaton will be present their new album Heroes live this year and the Swedes recently announced the first shows of their Heroes on Tour for Europe. The band is now giving fans a first glimpse of what the album will sound like with an in-depth trailer, in which you can listen to a snippet of the track "Far From The Fame" and to the band members' feelings about their upcoming release. With a brief statement, the Swedes Sabaton have announced that they're entering the studio to record what will be the successor of Carolus Rex, released back in 2012. This will also be their first album to feature new drummer Hannes Van Dahl.

Apparently, the Swedes Sabaton are being considered Nazis and their performance in Stalingrad is in jeopardy. The band was supposed to play a show in Russia next weekend but now political people and organizations are trying to prevent the band from entering Russia due to some politician who tries to convince the Russian immigration and government that Sabaton are Nazis. Curiously enough, the band recently played in Russia in support of Iron Maiden.
