Sigh - Will Put Out 'Shiki' Record This Summer

On August 26th, Japanese outfit Sigh will unleash new studio album titled Shiki. Joining the band for this release are Frédéric Leclercq of Kreator, plus US drummer Mike Heller of Fear Factory, along with an appearance by longtime member Satoshi Fujinami on bass. Shiki was recorded at multiple studios, and mixed / mastered by Lasse Lammert at LSD studios in Germany. Immerse yourself in Sigh's new world through the first single, "Mayonaka No Kaii", and the accompanying illustrated video from animator extraordinaire Costin Chioreanu.

Prog metal fans rejoice, as the reunion of Liquid Tension Experiment has been heavily implied, with every band member posting a picture of themselves with a mask that has a letter on it. L for Tony Levin, T for Mike Portnoy, E for Jordan Rudess, and the number 3 for John Petrucci. There's no official statement yet but it's fair to assume that the letters might stand for 'Liquid Tension Experiment 3'. More to follow.

Sigh - Premiere New Animated Video

A new Sigh video is here! The Japanese avantgarde metal masters have premiered the "Homo Homini Lupus" animated video created by none other than Costin Chioreanu. This track will appear on their upcoming opus, Heir To Despair, set to drop on Candlelight Records on November 16th. "Homo Homini Lupus" features the contribution of singer Phil Anselmo of Pantera and Down fame.
