23:41 - LeKiwi No no, I wasn't comparing the first two to the last two, I was only referring to the first two albums :)
23:38 - E.Mols86 When it comes to folk doom, Empyrium's first two albums are truly the cream of the crop. But strangely you do enjoy Uaral which is also up there with Empyrium but has those awful growls. :P
23:36 - E.Mols86 You honestly can NOT compare the first two albums with the last two albums. The style is too different for that to do so. But yeah, many people seem to prefer Songs of Moors and Misty Fields. I think both are brilliant.
23:34 - LeKiwi I played their debut and sophomore efforts back at home, and even my girlfriend noticed a massive improvement in Songs
23:30 - LeKiwi In all honesty, I thought their debut was a solid attempt, but the melodies were completely amateur. They played it really safe and there's nothing memorable, and I love my memorable melodies...it's what I live for :P Imo of cours
23:26 - E.Mols86 Actually Empyrium's first two albums are totally "symphonic folk doom"... it baffles me that some people actually call them black metal or something like that. In any case I've never seen them listed as symphonic which is baffling
23:24 - ANGEL REAPER you guys know shit.OSC have best debut ever :D
