With their new album Anteinferno set for release on December 20th via NoiseArt Records, the Finns Thaurorod have recently released a brand new song as a taste of what's to come. The song is entitled "Heart Of The Lion" and you can stream it right here below. It is the first new song to be shared by the band.
Thaurorod leapt out of the Finnish underground in 2010. Before, the newcomers released three EPs and later their debut album Upon Haunted Battlefields. The group now presents their newest creation: Anteinferno. Just like it was the case with their debut, the cover artwork for Anteinferno has been created by Ken Kelly of Manowar fame. Check it out below in all its details where you also find the album tracklist.
The melodic metal warriors Thaurorod enter the studio today, November 29th, to start the recordings for their new album which will be released in 2013. The album will be recorded with the new singer Andi Kravljaca who joined the band last month. The recordings will take place for the first time ever in a studio at Thaurorod's home city Hyvinkää in Rockstar Productions.
Prog/power metal warriors Thaurorod have been looking for a new singer, and now the search is over and the band has announced that the new singer will be Andi Kravljaca. You can watch his presentation video below. Thaurorod will release a new album in 2013, more details about that should be revealed soon.
Finnish prog/power band Thaurorod has parted ways with their singer Michele Luppi. In a statement, the band said: "Unfortunately we have had to let Luppi go as he don't have enough time for Thaurorod and we just see it impossible to go on with him. He is an phenomenal vocalist and we wanted to give him time to complete his duties with Thaurorod. Finally we realized that a right thing to do is to continue with someone more motivated who shares the same passion and hunger to go on with Thaurorod as the rest of the band."
NoiseArt Records - a subdivision of Rock The Nation - are proud and extremely enthusiastic to welcome Thaurorod on the roster.
Commented managing director Stefan Hattinger: "A group of great persons, who understands to write outstanding songs and know how to play their instruments. Great melodic vocals from Markku Kuikka and an incredible guitar work performed by guitar hero Emil Phojalainen are the ingredients which stick out. Everybody who loves Dream Theater, Blind Guardian or Wintersun should check out this great band."
With Thaurorod NoiseArt Records signs, after Swedish heavy metal sensation Steelwing and German viking metalheads Varg their third artist.
Thaurorod's so far unnamed debut album will be released later this year. Meanwhile check out the band's MySpace page where you can listen to a pre-mastered version of the song "Warrior's Heart".
