No rest for the wicked. Swedish melodic death metal masters At The Gates have announced a string of U.S. tour dates to follow after their appearance on the 70000 Tons Of Metal 2016 cruise. Set to kick off on February 9th, 2016 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the trek will also feature The Haunted and Decapitated (direct support) and Harm's Way, making up for a heavy-hitting bill.
After its release in Europe, The Haunted's fresh new album Exit Wounds has now also been released all over the world via Century Media Records. After almost a year without public activity and re-structuring behind closed doors, Sweden's The Haunted are finally back after major line-up changes around autumn of 2012. Vocalist Peter Dolving left followed by guitarist Anders Björler and drummer Per Möller Jensen. The group has now broken the silence and announced their new line-up. They also released a video to introduce the new members.
Swedish metallers The Haunted have released the following statement regarding the departure of guitarist Anders Björler and drummer Per Möller Jensen: "It's with deep regret we have to inform you of another two departures from The Haunted, guitarist Anders Björler and drummer Per Möller Jensen. No animosity whatsoever caused these events, nor are there any other feelings than that they will both be dearly missed. We wish them all the best in whatever and wherever their future endeavors will take them."
Vocalist Peter Dolving has announced that he has officially left Swedish thrash metallers The Haunted. In the following post on his Facebook page, Dolving explicitly said he will not divulge the reasons for his departure: "I am officially quitting The Haunted. After years of working with the band, I am out. I have had it. I will not answer questions to why. It's no one else's business. Thank you very much. I am looking forward to seeing you people at other shows with other projects."
The band has also released the following statement on their official website confirming the departure: "Peter has decided to leave The Haunted permanently. We don't have any more news or info for you regarding this at the moment, but stay tuned for future updates... We just wanted to put and end to all the rumors out there."
