08:51 - Apothecary It's like it's saying "those things, that you thought were buried deep in your mind's recesses.... I am bringing them out." So, "disturbing" in a different sense of the word, I guess
08:50 - Apothecary I'm not in Vindsval's head of course, but I look at MoRT as channeling the nature of the human unconscious, and that's what's so off-putting about it in a way because its paradoxical structured/formless aura somehow reflects that
08:25 - Jaeryd Gnaw Their Tongues is something I would call disturbing though, yes.
08:23 - Jaeryd MoRT, disturbing or scary? Twisted, dark, insane, and brilliant, yes, but there's much more unsettling stuff out there.
08:14 - Apothecary If you liked I Shall Die Here, you might want to investigate the work of The Haxan Cloak farther, the guy they collabed with for it. Pretty nice if you're into the ambient stuff [link]
Twilightning has decided to call it quits. A message from the band reads as follows: "We discovered the fact that the drive has vanished and there's no point of going on without the full force and motivation. Then we just not only would cheat ourselves but also our fans. Everyone continues to pursue their musical careers on their own projects and bands. Twilightning thanks all of it's fans and everyone that has somehow helped or been there. The past eleven years has changed our lives."
Finnish power metallers Twilightning have posted their video for the song 'Isolation Shell' at YouTube.
The track comes off the group's third full-length album "Swinelords" which was released on March 21 via Spinefarm Records.
Finnish power metallers Twilightning entered Astia Studio in Lappeenranta, Finland last week to begin recording their third album for an early 2007 release via Spinefarm Records. "We finished the drums ten songs . . . and the recordings will continue on the 20th of this month in Music-Bros. studio in Imatra with Miitri Aaltonen," the group writes on its web site.
Twilightning 's last release was the "Bedlam" EP which was recorded at Astia and was mixed at the Finnvox facility in Helsinki.
Twilightning 's sophomore full-length album, "Plague-House Puppet Show", was issued in 2004.
The following message was posted on Twilightning's website concerning the departure of keyboard player Mikko Naukkarinen:
"Nasse has decided to leave Twilightning. We have talked things through with him a while ago and understood his reasons to leave the band. Although this sucks ass, we are all happy for all the years we have spend together. Thanks! Twilightning will go on without a keyboard player at least for now."
Hello. We've finished the recordings of our brand new EP about a week ago. I have to say that even though it has been a hellish and really disordered few weeks in Astia we came up for five brisk hard rocking songs! The mixing should start today at Finnvox. The name will be "Bedlam", you'll understand when you'll hear it... Anyways, we'll show you the cover art and pictures from the studio later when they are ready. Cheers and have a good Christmas!
