Heavy metallers U.D.O. will soon unleash the live release Steelhammer - Live From Moscow on May 23rd (June 10th in the US) via AFM Records as a DVD/2CD, Blu-ray/2CD and limited triple vinyl (tricolor, limited to 500 units only). A couple of days ago, German heavy metal machine U.D.O. signed a long-term contract with their current label AFM Records. The new deal includes the release of 3 studio albums and 3 DVDs. After 27 years of existence, the band already released 14 full-length albums. Their latest, Steelhammer, came out last year in May.

Atlanta metallers Halcyon Way are currently preparing to hit the road with German heavy metal legends U.D.O. across North America. The tour will begin on April 9th in Amityville, New York. The band will be playing songs from their latest album IndoctriNation.
U.D.O. will be bringing a new surge of heavy metal with their forthcoming offering Steelhammer. Recently, the band has been revealing bit by bit details about it including tracklist, cover artwork and a small teaser which you can now see below.
Back in September, German heavy metallers U.D.O.parted ways with longtime guitarist Stefan Kaufmann. Now, another longtime guitarist Igor Gianola left the band due to conflicts between U.D.O appointments and his private life and business. Moreover, the new U.D.O. album (title still to be announced) will be released on May 24th, 2013 via AFM Records.
German heavy metal veterans U.D.O. have confirmed that they will be touring across North America this coming April. This marks their return to the United States and Canada after a very long drought. Support acts for this tour have not yet been announced.
German heavy metal band U.D.O. is set to release their upcoming rare tracks album, Celebrator - Rare Tracks, on May 4th via AFM Records to celebrate the 25th band anniversary. The album presented by Metal Hammer is a collection of unreleased and rare tracks which will be released as a 2-CD digipak with 25 tracks. Check out snippets of the album at this location.
U.D.O.'s November 16th concert at Hristo Botev Hall in Sofia, Bulgaria, was professionally filmed for the band's next official live DVD, due to be released in 2012.
In their official website, the group commented: "The audience was absolutely fantastic and forced us to play for nearly 2 hours and 30 minutes. More than 2,000 fans welcomed back us after 7 years and pushed everybody over his personal limit. Sofia was absolutely great and we will never forget this show."
U.D.O. has recorded a Christmas song for the biggest European music- and merchandise mailorder company EMP in Osnabrück's "DocMaKlang" studio. The song "Jingle Balls" was written by staff members of EMP and it is a new interpretation of the Christmas song "Jingle Bells" and the Accept hymn "Balls To The Wall".
"Jingle Balls" will be released in the middle of December under the band name Evil Disposition.
A cooperation with EMP is planned for the release of U.D.O.'s forthcoming album Rev-Raptor which includes a countdown on EMP's website the whole week before the release date (tentatively due in May 2011) including a message from Udo and snippets of the new songs every day.
