Vio-lence - Phil Demmel Announces Exit From Band
Vio-lence guitarist Phil Demmel has announced that he will be exiting the long-running Bay Area thrash metal band after playing a final show with them this coming Sunday, February 11th in São Paulo, Brazil, and replacing him is Ira Black (ex-Vicious Rumors, Heathen and Metal Church). Demmel's upcoming exit comes nearly two years after the departure of guitarist Bobby Gustafson (ex-Overkill) and roughly one year after they parted ways with drummer Perry Strickland, leaving vocalist Sean Killian as the sole remaining member of the "classic" Eternal Nightmare lineup.

Vio-lence - Announce April 2024 Tour Dates
Bay Area thrash metal legends Vio-Lence will embark on a tour of the East Coast and Midwest of the United States in April 2024, which will see the band performing their iconic 1988 debut album Eternal Nightmare in full. Support acts of this trek are Exhorder, Deceased and Mortal Wound.

Vio-Lence - Part Ways With Drummer Perry Strickland
Longtime Vio-lence drummer Perry Stickland took to his Instagram to share a video himself performing with the band, simply saying, "I'll Miss playing these songs!" and effectively confirming his departure from the band. Strickland's split from Vio-lence comes nearly four months after the departure of guitarist Bobby Gustafson. While no replacement for Stickland has been found, Vio-lence are scheduled to perform at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California on February 25th, followed by dates in Asia, Australia and New Zealand early next month.

Vio-Lence - Frontman Hints At New Full-Length Studio Album
Other than a new EP from about a month ago, Let The World Burn, and another one already in the works, Bay Area thrash metal legends Vio-lence have not released a full-length studio album since Nothing To Gain back in 1993. But in a recent interview with Echoes And Dust, vocalist Sean Killian hinted at the possibility of the fourth full-length studio album from Vio-lence that could arrive in late 2023 or early 2024.

Vio-lence - Confirm Mini U.S. Spring Tour With Coroner

Vio-lence - To Enter Studio In Early 2021
In a recent interview with 'Underground Voice', Vio-lence guitarist Phil Demmel revealed that the band will likely enter the studio early next year to commence recording their upcoming five-song EP. Tentatively due for release sometime in 2021 via Metal Blade, the EP will be Vio-lence's first set of new material in nearly three decades, and the first to feature new guitarist Bobby Gustafson (ex-Overkill) and bassist Christian Olde Wolbers (ex-Fear Factory), replacing Robb Flynn and Deen Dell respectively.
