08:51 - Apothecary It's like it's saying "those things, that you thought were buried deep in your mind's recesses.... I am bringing them out." So, "disturbing" in a different sense of the word, I guess
08:50 - Apothecary I'm not in Vindsval's head of course, but I look at MoRT as channeling the nature of the human unconscious, and that's what's so off-putting about it in a way because its paradoxical structured/formless aura somehow reflects that
08:25 - Jaeryd Gnaw Their Tongues is something I would call disturbing though, yes.
08:23 - Jaeryd MoRT, disturbing or scary? Twisted, dark, insane, and brilliant, yes, but there's much more unsettling stuff out there.
08:14 - Apothecary If you liked I Shall Die Here, you might want to investigate the work of The Haxan Cloak farther, the guy they collabed with for it. Pretty nice if you're into the ambient stuff [link]
07:44 - Joe Zombie GTT is some fucked up shit but damn good. I Shall Die Here by The Body is another disturbing one.

Commented Vreid bassist Hváll: "It is with great joy we can announce our first headlining tour in North America. The Black Path Of America tour is packed with ten US and six Canadian shows. We did our first full North America tour in 2009 on the Heathen Fest, and the reaction we got was overwhelming. We had amazing shows in Montreal, Cleveland and San Francisco - to name just a few - and are glad to see all those cities plus many more on the list for our upcoming tour. Our latest album, V, is doing fantastic, and has become a monumental release for us. We can't wait to return to the Wild West to unleash songs new and old with our own production. Joining us on this tour are our good Norwegian friends of the legendary Kampfar and Necronomicon from Canada. It's a killer lineup, and we hope to see as many of you as possible at the shows."

Norwegian black'n'rollers Vreid have announced the departure of guitarist Ese and his replacement by Stian "Strom" Bakketeig, who also performs in Cor Scorpii and Mistur and was - alongside with the three remaining members of Vreid - a part of Windir until the death of frontman Terje "Valfar" Bakken in 2004. The statement of the band reads as follows:
"In late December we got the news from Ese that he could not continue to play with Vreid. This was of course very sad news, as Ese has been a member of Vreid since the beginning in 2004. We respect his decision, and want to thank him for all his great work during the 5 years, 4 album and almost 200 shows for the Vreid brigade.
