Singaporean trio Wormrot are back! At last, fans can hear new music from the grindcore unit. Prepare for a trippy journey with their new video. It features the new song "Fallen Into Disuse" from the new awaited album Voices, to be released this October 14th via Earache Records.
The grindcore trio Wormrot is now a duo as drummer Fitri is out of the band. Guitarist Rasyid Juraimi explained that he has distanced himself from the band and they haven't been able to contact him. The band planned to enter the studio in June to record a new album but that won't happen as planned. They are searching for a new drummer and if they don't find a suitable replacement, then Wormrot will be over.
Singaporean grinders Wormrot have issued the following end of tour recap and announcement about taking a break at least from live activity: "We've been ripped off, abandoned blablabla but we survived and end the tour with a fucking smile. We've been touring hard every year for quite awhile and we think it's time to take a break and concentrate on our personal shit as for now. We'll be back touring hopefully with another new album? "
Singaporean grinders Wormrot have confirmed several dates for a UK headlining tour, which kicks off on June 1st this year.
Wormrot guitarist Rasyid commented: "We're super stoked for this one, more than usual! We promise a killer live show, plus we've added to our setlist some new songs that you can expect from our third full-length, so hope you guys stay tuned for them!"
"Breed To Breed", a brand new video from Singaporean grinders Wormrot is now available for viewing below. Critically acclaimed grind act, Wormrot will be heading into Singapore's TNT Music Productions this January to record a brand new album entitled Dirge. With this being the full-length follow-up to Abuse, the band promises to bring their breakneck grind tones to grim new lows.
Frontman, Arif Rot is highly excited about the band's new material and wants the world to know about it: "We are definitely stoked to get this album out. We are working extra hard on this one. EXTRA FUCKING HARDER THAN ABUSE. We are currently in the rehearsal studio still writing songs and making some minor adjustments and what not. If you are digging Abuse and also from our latest split with I Abhor, then u might dig the new album. We'll be in the studio for Dirge first week of January. NEW YEAR WITH A NEW DOSAGE OF GRIND!"
