Of Erthe And Axen is scheduled to be released sometime this year. German artist Jana Heidersdorf created the cover. The two brothers Thanos and Sindr (Ereptor) are shown in juxtaposition; Thanos embodying magic and the natural world, and Sindr consumed by fire, technology, and industry.

Xanthochroid recently announced that they have started recording new material. In a post from July 20th, they say "Holy shit we officially start recording tomorrow!" so clearly they are excited. The group also posted a picture of the drum kit in the studio. No news on a release date but the band's new album Of Erthe & Axen will drop via Blood Music which is also working behind-the-scenes on mastering Blessed He With Boils and Incultus for vinyl.

The band is currently in the pre-production phases, where they're compiling ideas, practicing and recording demo tracks. Another Xanthochroid album is on the way to follow Blessed He With Boils.
