US stoner doom trio Yob have revealed a set of tour dates for the coming spring. First, they will be performing in the Western part of the US in March. Afterwards they will be heading out to Europe for a 10-date long trek, scheduled in May.

On April 10th, Dutch dark rock formation Dool will release their second studio album, titled Summerland. It was recorded by Martin 'Konie' Ehrencrona (Tribulation, In Solitude) and mixed/mastered by Cult Of Luna's drummer Magnus Lindberg. Summerland also features a couple of well-known guest performances: Per Wiberg (ex-Opeth, Spiritual Beggars), Okoi Jones (Bølzer) and Farida Lemouchi (The Devil's Blood, Molasses). The first single and the album's opening track, "Sulphur & Starlight", is available for streaming via Bandcamp below.

Former Cynic and Death drummer Sean Reinert has died. He was the founding member of Cynic along with guitarist/vocalist Paul Masvidal and he played on all their records, including the legendary Focus. He was also the drummer on the classic Death album, Human. No cause of death has yet been revealed and an autopsy is going to be performed. He was only 48 years old.
