Skinlab - Share Two New Songs
U.S. band Skinlab has recently shared two brand new songs online. The two singles are "Dead Tomorrow" and "End Of Silence", which was previously released here. The nu metal outfit is releasing the first new music since 2009's The Scars Between Us album and will embark on the tour dubbed "Brothers In Blood" in January.

Asking Alexandria - Guitarist Responds To Sales Decline
The release of Asking Alexandria's new self-titled album this past December saw the band move around 22,000 units in the United States during its first week, giving them the #27th position on the Billboard 200. Those sales were down from that of the band's 2016 album, The Black, which moved 30,000 units during its first week. That album's predecessor, 2013's From Death To Destiny, saw the band's peak so far with 41,000 units moved during its first week. A report on the declining sales trend for the band by Rockfeed.net saying it could be "the beginning of their downslope" ignited a response from guitarist Ben Bruce.

The new year has arrived but now we have the first metal loss of 2018. Claus Graf-Reinholdt aka Bubi the Schmied from Zed Yago (also Velvet Viper, Reactive Black, and Jutta Weinhold) has passed away. German musician Jutta Weinhold announced the sad news on her Facebook page. R.I.P.

Revocation - Former Drummer Accepts Settlement Over Arrest, Broken Arm
According to reports, Phil Dubois-Coyne, the former Revocation drummer who parted ways with the band in 2015, has accepted a $30,000 settlement to end his lawsuit over his 2014 arrest in Oklahoma City. The 32-year-old Phil Dubois-Coyne suffered a broken arm when police arrested him at a Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival after-party early August 8th, 2014, at the Downtown Airpark.
