Primordial - New Album And European Tour Announced

Irish Pagan metallers Primordial just announced that they will spread their madness throughout Europe. The band announced the Heathen Crusade 2018 tour (dates below, or on flyer). They are joining axes with Finnish folk metal giants Moonsorrow for the co-headline tour and German black metallers Der Weg Einer Freiheit supporting. The other good news is that Primordial's new album is called Exile Amongst The Ruins and is set to be released by the end of March in 2018! They have just finished the recordings. Now, we wait for the music.

Saxon - New Song And Video Unveiled

Metal Storm has already informed that English heavy metal eagles Saxon are about to release a new album, entitled Thunderbolt. Now the band has released some audio and visuals from it. The band's latest video for "Thunderbolt", featuring footage from their pyro-filled performance at Wacken and a host of other live shows, can be seen below. It gives you a chance to listen to the first new track from the record.

Napalm Death - Release New Track Through Decibel Flexi Series

In celebration of their bassist's Shane Embury's 50th birthday, U.K.'s extreme metal legends Napalm Death released a new track on Decibel Magazine's Flexi Series. The only way you can own the Flexi is by purchasing Decibel's Special Collector's Edition Napalm Death Issue. "Nurse The Hunger" was written by the band's guitarist Mitch Harris and recorded in 2014, but was not released until now.

Cradle Of Filth - North American Tour Announced

English extreme gothic metal icons Cradle Of Filth will sail to America and perform some dark rituals on their live shows there as part of the Cryptoriana world tour, with Jinjer as support. Having released a new album this year, Cryptoriana: The Seductiveness Of Decay, the group will be touring in Europe at the beginning of next year followed by a South American tour and a North American tour. Later, they will also play in Japan and Australia.

Malevolent Creation - Lineup Changes, New Album On The Way

U.S. long running death metal growlers Malevolent Creation recently announced several line-up changes and a new album as well. The only founding member left is guitarist Philip Fasciana. He recruited for the death metal ship vocalist/guitarist Lee Wollenschlaeger as well as Phil Cancilla on drums and bassist Josh L. Gibbs.

The Crown - Complete New Album Recordings

Swedish death/thrash purveyors The Crown have returned to Metal Blade Records for a multiple album deal. The group has just finished recording their new, currently untitled long-player at Studio Fredman, and the record "promises to be one of the biggest surprises of the upcoming year." Northlane recently won their 2nd ARIA Award, with their album Mesmer beating out Airbourne (Breaking Outta Hell), Frenzal Rhomb (Hi-Vis High Tea), King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard (Murder Of The Universe) and Sleepmakeswaves (Made Of Breath Only) for the Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album category. Primal Fear - Recording New Album, Release In 2018

Power metallers Primal Fear are at it again! The German band is back in the studio working on their upcoming new album, Apocalypse. Twelve brand new crushing tracks have been selected, out of 30 newly written tracks, which will be produced by Primal Fear's own Mat Sinner and engineered and mixed by Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios in Denmark. The album is tentatively scheduled for release in mid-2018 via Frontiers Music Srl to follow Rulebreaker.

David Ellefson - Resurrects Combat Records, Announce New Signings

Some of you might remember Combat Records as one of the seminal thrash labels of the 1980s, their most prominent artist being Megadeth. Combat was also home to Helstar, Circle Jerks, Exodus, Nuclear Assault, and many more of the most influential metal and punk bands around. Megadeth's bassist David Ellefson and his EMP Label Group will be resurrecting the Combat Records label in 2018.
