Sons Of Apollo - Release New Video

The new progressive metal band Sons Of Apollo, which features former Dream Theater members Mike Portnoy and Derek Sherinian, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal (ex- Guns N' Roses), Billy Sheehan (The Winery Dogs, Mr. Big, David Lee Roth) and Jeff Scott Soto (ex-Journey, ex-Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force), have just released the Vicente Cordero-directed video for "Lost In Oblivion". Acid Witch - Announce New Album, Stream New Song

U.S. death doom metallers Acid Witch are back! Finally, there will a new album from the haunting duo to follow 2010's Stoned. So, it's been seven long years. Morbid Angel - Cancel European Tour

Morbid Angel have cancelled more European shows. After cancelling several festival appearances this summer due to unforeseen problems with a passport for one of the members of the band, the U.S. death metallers promised that the European tour in November/December would not be affected but it seems like that wasn't meant to be. This happens at a time the band is gearing up to release their new album, Kingdoms Disdained, due on December 1st on Silver Lining Music and via JVC in Japan.

Northern Kings - Perform Finnish Heavy Metal Medley At The Kulttuuri Gaala

Finnish superstars Northern Kings, consisting some of the most recognisable Finnish vocalists: Marco Hietala (Nightwish, Tarot), Tony Kakko (Sonata Arctica) and Juha-Pekka Leppäluoto (ex-Charon, Dark Sarah), recently performed an all-time greatest Finnish heavy metal song medley in the national prestigious Finnish Vuosisadan Kulttuurigaala event (Culture Gala of the Century, celebrating 100 years of independent Finland), which took place on October 18th, 2017, and was streamed by the Finnish national broadcasting company, YLE. The songs performed were as follows: "Tallulah" (Sonata Arctica), "Colder" (Charon), "Wings Of Darkness" (Tarot), "Towards Dead End" (Children Of Bodom), "Hunting High And Low" (Stratovarius) and "Wish I Had An Angel" (Nightwish).
