My Sleeping Karma - To Release Live Album

My Sleeping Karma's first live record of their decade long career is coming! Titled Mela Ananda - Live, the German four-piece showcases their brand of psychedelic rock. Check out the album artwork, tracklist and release date. The detailed artwork is the great work of Sebastian Jerke. Mela Ananda translates directly to "a gathering of bliss" and will be released on February 24th 2017 via Napalm Records.

Anneke Van Giersbergen - Launches New Band Vuur

Anneke Van Giersbergen has a new band! The Dutch singer has just announced Vuur, which is about to record its debut album. The band also features members from The Gentle Storm project, including drummer Ed Warby, bassist Johan Van Stratum, guitarist Ferry Duijsens, and singer Marcela Bovio. Guitarist Jord Otto is also in the band. These past few months, they have been busy writing and rehearsing songs for their debut album that will be recorded early next year and released in the fall of 2017 via InsideOut Music. Be prepared for something heavy, melodic and progressive.

Swedish atmospheric black metallers Wormwood have inked a deal with the Dutch label Non Serviam Records. Their debut album entitled Ghostlands - Wounds From A Bleeding Earth will be released early next year as a physical release and through all digital platforms. The album has been recorded and mastered by Sverker Widgren at Wing Studios, a renowned veteran of sound engineering on the Scandinavian extreme metal scene.
