Doomsters Electric Wizard are currently forging a new album. The band is working on their ninth studio album, with delivery expected in time for a Halloween 2016 release on Spinefarm Records. Witherscape - New Album Complete

Witherscape returns with a post that will make your day. Regular updates provided by the band over the last year have finally culminated in this moment. The new album is complete! In 2014, the band released an EP titled The New Tomorrow, intended as a conceptual and musical bridge between the '13 debut, The Inheritance, and the band's upcoming sophomore album. Wilderun - Release Another Cover

As one of the higher-end rewards for the band's Kickstarter campaign, Wilderun agreed to cover three songs of the pledgers' choice. Having released a cover of Thin Lizzy and a traditional folk song, this recent cover marks the third and final of the trio, "Trident". You can stream all three below. Hope you enjoy it!

Crashdïet - Martin Sweet Launches New Band

Crashdïet guitarist Martin Sweet has launched a new band called Sweet Creature. Together with Michael Txr of ToxicRose on drums, Tin Star of Gemini Five on bass, and longtime songwriting partner Linus Nirbrant from This Ending on rhythm guitar, the group has recorded a full-length studio album due out later this year. First out is the single "Not Like Others", the official video for which can be seen below. Martin Sweet, who is handling the lead vocals, describes the sound as classic hard rock with gloomy melodies and lyrics.

Hell:On - Cover Slayer's Classic Song

During the recording session for their upcoming album, Hell:On "warmed up" with a cover song of the mighty Slayer - "Dead Skin Mask". But the track was not played in a classical way; Hell:On added elements of death metal, more typical for their last album, Once Upon A Chaos. During the recording, the musicians used some ethnic instruments, which gave a special atmosphere to the track. Listen to it here.

Eluveitie - Anna Murphy, Ivo Henzi And Merlin Sutter Out Of The Band

Today, the Swiss metallers announced several departures from the band, including drummer Merlin Sutter, Merlin's close friends Anna Murphy and Ivo Henzi. It seems like the band asked the drummer to leave and the two others followed suit. Could this be the end of the band? According to the remaining members, it won't be.

AC/DC - 7000 Belgian Fans Request Refunds For Axl Rose-Fronted Show

Since frontman Brian Johnson could no longer perform with AC/DC due to hearing loss, and the band announced that Axl Rose will be their new live vocalist for the upcoming tours, many fans aren't happy with the choice. In fact, 7,000 Belgian fans want their money back for the tickets they bought. Fans have been offered similar refunds for the 12 other dates on the European tour, which kicks off in Lisbon, Portugal on May 7th and runs until June 12th.
