Arch Enemy - Johan Liiva And Chris Amott Joining Band At Loud Park

Arch Enemy have always had a soft spot for Japan. And on their next appearance at the 10th anniversary of Loud Park festival, the band will bring in some special guests, two original members. None other than former singer Johan Liiva, who was the vocalist of the band on their first three albums up until Burning Bridges. Founding member and guitarist Christopher "Chris" Amott, who has left the band twice, will also join the group on stage in Japan. So, chances are that the melodic death metallers will play some oldies, songs from the Liiva era.

Secrets Of The Moon - New Album Cover, Release Date Revealed

Prophecy Productions has revealed the cover and release date for the upcoming Secrets Of The Moon album, entitled Sun. The album is set to be released on December 4th, 2015. This will be the first full-length the band has released with bassist Naamah Ash and drummer Erebor (known also for his work in Thulcandra). The label promises this to be the band's "boldest and most intense" album to date, a manifestation of their own vision, "saturated with unwavering self-confidence and the will to live". Fitting, as the album follows a tumultuous period in the band, marked by the untimely death of bassist LSK and the departure of longtime drummer Thelemnar.

Havok - Announce New Bassist And N. American Tour

Denver, Colorado thrash maniacs Havok have announced the addition of bassist Nick Schendzielos (Job For A Cowboy, Cephalic Carnage) after parting ways with Mike Leon. Leon, who spent two years with Havok and appeared on the band's 2013 release Unnatural Selection, will be joining metallers Soulfly on their upcoming North American tour. The newly recruited Schendzielos will record bass on the band's upcoming fourth studio album and take part in the band's upcoming North American headlining tour.

Cloudscape - Stream New Song And Announce New Album

Cloudscape announced that the work on their new opus is finished. The fifth record of the Swedish prog metallers will be titled Voice Of Reason and premieres worldwide on January 8th 2016 via Dead End Exit Records.
