Darkest Hour - Announce 20th Anniversary Tours

Yes, 2015 is a special year for Darkest Hour as the band is celebrating their 20th anniversary. To do it in style, they have announced two tours for the next few months. First, the North American tour where Darkest Hour will be playing the album Undoing Ruin in its entirety, also featuring special guests Dead To Fall. Before that, they are doing some anniversary shows in Europe too but only some of them will get the special set list.

iwrestledabearonce - Debut New Track

The Americans Iwrestledabearonce have offered up a new track online that you can now enjoy here. The track is called "Erase It All" and is the first revealed from their forthcoming Artery Recordings debut Hail Mary, which arrives on June 16th. The album is Iwrestledabearonce's first with new guitarist Mike Stringer (Fall In Archaea). "Erase It All" also features a guest spot from Suicide Silence singer Eddie Hermida.

Obscene Extreme America 2015 - Immolation Headlining

Europe's craziest grindcore party is heading to North America and Immolation are the latest addition to the Obscene Extreme America 2015 line-up as headliners. The death metal kings promise to crush Montreal. The festival is taking place in August 20th-23rd, 2015 at Trh Bar, Théâtre Telus and Katakombes. It boasts a veritable feast of extreme metal served by the likes of Trap Them, Fuck The Facts, Magrudergrind, Putrid Pile, Malignancy, Agathocles, Creative Waste, Inhumate, Full Of Hell and Schirenc Plays Pungent Stench, among others.

Flotsam & Jetsam - To Play In Greece, Studio Update

Flotsam & Jetsam have recently confirmed that their first appearance on the island of Crete will be at the Chania Rock Festival in Chania, Crete, on Saturday July 18th, 2015. Imperia - Begin Recording New Album

Imperia are forging their next offering! Finally, after a few years, the symphonic/gothic metallers are working on the follow-up to Secret Passion and the recordings have started. Conan - Confirm US Dates In May

British stoner/doom representatives Conan will be heading to United States this May on a headlining tour. The tour kicks off May 6th in Atlanta, GA and is currently scheduled to run through May 23rd in Philadelphia, PA. Support on the tour will come from Samothrace and Mantar. Conan will be also part of the Psycho California Festival in Santa Ana, CA as well as Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore, MD. Additional dates are expected to be added soon.

Heidevolk - Release New Lyric Video

As their new album is about to be released in North America, Heidevolk have released a lyric video for one of their new songs. Velua is already out in Europe but only drops in North America this next week (April 7th). The folk metallers just wrapped up an intensive Paganfest tour that included a broken foot and a laceration. Now you can get lost in "Vinland" by listening to the closing track right here. It is their first song in English.

Moonlyght - Unveil New Album Artwork And Release Date

Quebec's progressive dark metallers Moonlyght have unveiled the artwork for their third album Return To Desolation. It will finally be released on July 7th via Blast Head Records, seven years after their latest album Shining. There are some guest musicians on the album: Catherine Elvira Chartier (viola, from LIVA) and Julie Lemelin (female vocals). Tommy Demers from Blinded By Faith will also make a guest appearance on vocals, and their former guitarist Simon Rhéaume Goulet will play a guitar solo on the 10-minute song called "Universal Pain".

Gazpacho - Announce European Shows, New Album Coming

Warbringer - Banned From House Of Blues Anaheim

Disney strikes again. Warbringer were supposed to play on the House of Blues in Anaheim, California opening for Meshuggah on April 13th but that won't happen because the thrashers have been banned from the venue because their "name/image/lyrical content are somehow objectionable to proper Disney image and family values."
