Torche - Video Game Available Online

As you probably know, Torche are about to release a new album, Restarter, and they have found an original way to promote the record. Torche band members have joined Mario, Gordon Freeman and Zelda, as the quartet become video game characters in Torche vs. Robots: Annihilation Affair. The desktop based, single-player, side-scrolling game allows players to pick their favorite band member on a quest to save Miami from becoming a post-apocalyptic wasteland. You can have a bit of fun with it here.

Never Comes Silence - Update On New Album

After a long silence from the German metallers Never Comes Silence, the band has confirmed that they are recording a new album. A few days ago, singer Tanja Regmann laid down the final vocals. Primal Fear - Announce Latin American Shows

The Eternal - Releasing New DVD, Clip Online

Australian gothic metallers The Eternal have some news about their new live DVD. Coming out in late next month, the Circle Of Live CD/DVD edition is an 80-minute album and concert DVD. Captured on The Eternal's 10th anniversary Australian tour in late 2013, the title makes reference to their last album, but is also about the band coming full circle musically and covering material from the first five albums. Below you can already have a taste of this release with the live version of "Blood" from Circle Of Live.

Scorpions - Documentary On The Way

Renowned filmmaker Katja von Garnier accompanied German hard rock veterans Scorpions on what was originally supposed to be the band's farewell tour. The resulting documentary, Forever And A Day, follows the band on the road from Bangkok to Moscow, and culminates in Scorpions decision to scrap their retirement plans, deciding instead to mark their 50th anniversary in 2015 with a new tour, a new album and the Forever And A Day movie. Last Saturday saw the world premiere of the documentary in Berlin. A video report on the event can be seen below. The one and half hour long movie premieres in German theaters on the 26th of March.

Ensiferum - Team Up With Spotify To Bring New Album In Its Entirety

The Finnish folk metallers Ensiferum have partnered up with Spotify to bring fans their new album One Man Army in its entirety. In celebration of their upcoming release, now less than two weeks away, the band has teamed up with Spotfiy for a stream of the record. Each day, Spotify will add an additional One Man Army track to their player leading up to the record's final descent. Satyricon - Sign With Napalm Records For New DVD Release

Norwegian black metal masters Satyricon have signed a worldwide deal with Austrian metal label Napalm Records for the release of their upcoming DVD Live At The Opera. The DVD is set to be released in Europe on May 1st and on May 5th, 2015 in North America via Napalm Records. This upcoming release will contain the full performance DVD and double CD of this exclusive and very special concert by Satyricon and the group has previously unveiled the cover art and a preview for it.
