Ensiferum - To Tour North America With Korpiklaani And Trollfest

A folk metal treat for the North American fans! Finland's Ensiferum are pleased to announce a North American tour with country mates Korpiklaani and Norway's Trollfest for this May. The tour kicks off on May 6th 2015 at the infamous House of Blues in Los Angeles where the band will start promoting their new album One Man Army, which will be issued on Tuesday, February 24th via Metal Blade Records. Korpiklaani's new album Noita will be out on May 1st through Nuclear Blast Records. Check out the list of confirmed tour dates down below.

Beyond Creation - Part Ways With Bassist

Unfortunately, Canadian tech death metallers Beyond Creation have announced that their bassist Dominic "Forest" Lapointe is no longer part of the band for "personal reasons." They thank him for his great work and dedication to the band for the past four years. So far, Beyond Creation haven't announced a replacement yet.

American Head Charge - Join Napalm Records, Releasing New Album

American Head Charge are finally releasing a new album, a decade after their last one The Feeding. The American metallers have inked a new deal with Austrian label Napalm Records. The band entered the studio in the summer of 2014 to begin recording with producer Dave Fortman (Ugly Kid Joe, Evanescence, Eyehategod, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Godsmack) at Third Sky Studio, in Richmond, KY. What came of this is the band's forthcoming album Tango Umbrella. Get ready!

Cradle Of Filth - Woman Attempts To Deface Band's T-Shirt In Museum

Cradle Of Filth's 'Vestal Masturbation' t-shirt is causing some controversy. According to Radio New Zealand, a woman has attempted to spraypaint the controversial t-shirt at an exhibition at Canterbury Museum. The t-shirt, that depicts a graphic image of a nun masturbating with the phrase 'Jesus Is A Cunt' at the back, was placed on display at the Canterbury Museum in Christchurch, New Zealand for the "T-shirts Unfolding" exhibition and it has drawn criticism. Shortly after the exhibition was opened, a woman took a can of spray paint to the installation in an attempt to obscure the t-shirt's message.

Dir En Grey - Announce European Tour, New DVD

Visual kei survivors Dir En Grey have announced the addition of a European leg to their upcoming Tour15 The Unstoppable Life. Three - New Song Released

After much anticipation and their series of singles released from April to August last year, Three have re-surfaced with another quality track. Back on January 11th, their official Facebook page informed us of the upcoming "Crazy Eyes." Within The Ruins - Involved In Van Crash, To Miss Two Shows Of Tour

Americans Within The Ruins are going through a rough patch. Over the weekend, the metalcore group flipped their van and trailer, and their gear as well as van and trailer were totally destroyed. The band is forced to miss the first shows of the upcoming tour and hopes to return on February 20th in Seattle. At least, they are all okay. Within The Ruins have set up a GoFundMe page to make up some of gear lost in the wreckage. You can help here if you can.

Magrudergrind - Join Relapse Records, Enter Studio

Good news for grindcore fans. Magrudergrind have joined the Relapse Records family. More importantly, the trio has entered the studio to record their highly anticipated first new material in over five years with producer Kurt Ballou (Converge, High On Fire, Torche) at God City Studios in Salem, MA. The full-length record will be mastered by Pig Destroyer's Scott Hull and artwork will be designed by Clint Nicolas. The opus will see a release later this year along with extensive touring from the band. Who's excited?

Tool - In The Studio

Tool guitarist Adam Jones has recently shared a video filmed by Motörhead's drummer Mikkey Dee. It appears that the two bands are working on new releases in the same recording facility in Los Angeles. Tool have confirmed that they are working on new material before but fans are still waiting for the follow-up to 2006's 10,000 Days.
