Kampfar - Confirmed For Inferno Metal Festival 2015

The line-up for the Inferno Metal Festival 2015 continues to grow. The latest confirmation has been the Norwegian band Kampfar due to popular demand. After an overcrowded gig at their club day in 2014, the band in 2015 will enter the big stage at Rockefeller. The fest will celebrate 15 years in 2015 and plenty of great bands have been announced so far.

Beheaded - Working On New Album

Malta's brutal death metallers Beheaded have recently shared that they are currently in Italy at work on their new album to follow Never To Dawn. Frank Calleja, Davide Billia, Omar Grech and a mysterious guitarist who will be announced later on as the band's second axeman are completing the return to a 5 piece line-up. Cannibal Corpse - Lyrics Banned In Russia

After having Russian Orthodox Church activist organizations trying to ban their shows in the country and seeing three Russian shows cancelled, death metallers Cannibal Corpse now face a ban of their lyrics, according to Rapsi. Prosecutors in the republic of Bashkortostan had requested a court ban on lyrics and cover art by the band.

The Gentle Storm - Announce First Shows And Album Release Date

The new project The Gentle Storm, where Arjen Lucassen ( Ayreon, Star One, Guilt Machine) joins forces with Anneke van Giersbergen ( The Gathering, Devin Townsend), has finally set an official release date for their anticipated debut album. The Diary will be released on the 23rd of March 2015 in Europe through Inside Out Music. But there is more. They have also confirmed that in advance of The Gentle Storm's full band shows, Arjen will join Anneke for a select few European live acoustic dates in what will be quite a rare and special occasion.

The Skull - Announce December U.S. Tour Dates

The heavy doom band The Skull - featuring original Trouble members, vocalist Eric Wagner and drummer Jeff "Oly" Olson, alongside longtime former Trouble bassist Ron Holzner with Sacred Dawn guitarist Lothar Keller and former Pentagram guitarist Matt Goldsborough - have recently announced a December U.S. tour to promote their debut record, For Those Which Are Asleep, which was released worldwide this month (November 4th) via Tee Pee Records. Inquisition - To Reissue First Two Albums, Covers Revealed

Black metal duo Inquisition are now revealing the artwork of the reissue of their praised second full-length Invoking The Majestic Throne Of Satan which has been scheduled for release on February 23rd, 2015 (one day later in North America). This is part of Season Of Mist exclusively releasing the official catalogue of the band. Invoking The Majestic Throne Of Satan will come as all reissues with new artwork by the renowned artist Paolo Girardi, who already created the cover art for Inquisition's latest album Obscure Verses For The Multiverse (2013). The original artwork will be included as well with each re-release. These will have the original masters; no remixes and no remastering.
