This will be their first new album in over eight years and follow-up to Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead. The album is planned for a Spring 2015 release via Relapse Records with tentative song titles including "Serpenticide", "Skinless", and "The Beast Smells Blood".

Manowar have pulled out of the Loud Park Festival. Due to circumstances beyond either the promoter's or Manowar's control, the band will be unable to perform at Loud Park Festival on October 18th, 2014. The band will instead play 2 concerts at Zepp Diver City in Tokyo on October 29th and October 30th, 2014. The heavy metallers are currently hard at work on their next studio album as well.

British NWOBHM band Raven has been working on their upcoming original album called ExtermiNation, slated for an early 2015 release. It has been five years since the last opus released by this band, Walk Through Fire has seen the light of day. As a bonus, the band has found the time in the pre-production sessions for the new album to record several covers for a covers album entitled Party Killers. Although no more details have been revealed until now, we can expect to hear covers like "Ogre Battle" from Queen as well as "In For The Kill" from Budgie.
