KEN Mode - Release New Video, New Tour Announced

KEN Mode seem to tour non-stop and now they have announced another short North American trek. The Canadians have also premiered a video for the track "The Promises Of God" which is taken from their latest album, Entrench. The North American tour starts on August 29th and will bookend their forthcoming appearance at the 2014 edition of the Hopscotch Festival. Intronaut - Confirm 10th Anniversary US Tour In November

Intronaut will hit the road again after a short break and a recent tour with TesseracT. The band has been on the road in support of their current album, Habitual Levitations, ever since its release on Century Media in March of 2013. This special run of shows is in celebration of the band's 10-year anniversary. Canadians Anciients will be supporting them throughout the whole tour (except on the last date in LA).

Machine Head - Announce Tour With Epica And Children Of Bodom

Bay Area metallers Machine Head continue their live domination of North America with the announcement of a 21-show U.S. and Canadian trek in support of their debut studio album for Nuclear Blast Entertainment, which is due out this fall. With a strong and diverse line-up that features support from Finnish powerhouse Children Of Bodom and Dutch symphonic metallers Epica with American melodic death/thrash openers Battlecross, the tour launches on October 4th in Denver, Colorado and includes five Canadian cities before closing out in Hollywood, California on November 1st. Winterfylleth - Reveal New Album Cover And More Details

Another band releasing a new album this year is Winterfylleth. The UK black metallers just revealed the details of the impending The Divination Of Antiquity opus. Today you get to see the album cover, tracklist and release dates. The Divination Of Antiquity is to be released on October 6th, 2014 in the UK and the 7th of October in the rest of the world via Candlelight Records. As for the music, you have to be a little bit more patient but the frontman describes it as "melodic, passionate and expansive" and "including some slower, doomier elements."

Exodus - Kirk Hammett To Guest On New Album

Exodus have confirmed that Metallica's guitarist Kirk Hammett will guest on their upcoming new album and play a guitar solo. Kirk was of course a member of the original Exodus line-up but left to join Metallica in 1983. The rest is history. Also, on July 25th, the Fear FestEvil After Party showcased a performance by the legendary Bay Area thrashers Exodus at the San Diego Comic Con. Hammett joined the band on-stage for a few songs with bassist Robert Trujillo and other guests also making an appearance on the encore jam.

Nightrage - New Label, Enter The Studio In September

Recently, Nightrage have signed an album deal with Despotz Records. Yes, the melodic death metal band will finally release the follow-up to Insidious (2011). In fact, the group is entering the Dugout Studio (in Uppsala, Sweden) with Daniel Bergstrand on September 15th to record the new opus. A new single/video will be out this fall and the yet untitled album will surface in February 2015. Ronnie Nyman will lend his voice to the new release.

Burning Point - Announce New Vocalist, To Record New Album

Burning Point have a new vocalist. It is Nitte Valo (former vocalist of Battle Beast) who joins the Finnish melodic metal band. The band has also recruited a new keyboardist: Jarkko Väisänen. Pete Ahonen also decided to step down from the lead vocalist position and continue as a guitarist. But there is more. The band will start recording their new album soon and the working title is Polttopiste.
