Suicide Silence - Vocalist Eddie Hermida Joins, Quits All Shall Perish

The last time we heard about Suicide Silence, they had announced the passing of their vocalist Mitch Lucker, who died after a motorcycle accident last year. Recently, the band confirmed they would continue with a new vocalist and have now made the reveal. Suicide Silence's new frontman will be Hernan "Eddie" Hermida. You might know him as former All Shall Perish vocalist. Mere hours after the deathcore band revealed this, All Shall Perish also confirmed his decision to leave the band.

Caliban - New Album Next Year

Caliban went straight into the studio after a run of summer festivals to record their upcoming album to be titled Ghost Empire which we know now is due to be released on January 27th, 2014. Mark your calendars for the new offering from the metalcore outfit. Yet again the album was produced by guitarist Marc Görtz in cooperation with Benny Richter. The follow-up to I Am Nemesis is on the way.

Death Angel - Another New Song Streaming Online

Brainstorm - New Album On The Way

Finally the silence is over. Brainstorm have announced their brand new and 10th studio album that will be called Firesoul. The successor to On The Spur Of The Moment will be released in March 2014. It might seem like you still have a lot of waiting to do but this upcoming Monday, October 7th, the band will start recording the new material together with Achim Köhler, who also produced the albums Soul Temptation and Liquid Monster at the House Of Music Studios.

Thaurorod - Unveil Upcoming Album Details

Thaurorod leapt out of the Finnish underground in 2010. Before, the newcomers released three EPs and later their debut album Upon Haunted Battlefields. The group now presents their newest creation: Anteinferno. Just like it was the case with their debut, the cover artwork for Anteinferno has been created by Ken Kelly of Manowar fame. Poltergeist - Are Back

Swiss thrash metallers Poltergeist are back! V.O. Pulver (guitar), André Grieder (vocals) and Marek Felis (bass) got back together at V.O.'s rehearsal room in August 2013 to jam a few songs from the past. The missing drummer was replaced by Sven Vormann, who is no stranger to the thrash communion. He formerly played with German icons Destruction.

Apocalyptica - Release Video

Cello masters Apocalyptica have premiered today a new live performance video for "Ludwig Wonderland". The track is from the band's upcoming release Wagner Reloaded - Live In Leipzig. The album is a live collaboration with the MDR Leipzig Symphony Orchestra and will be released on November 19th via BMG. It was recorded in July 2013 in Leipzig. The song "Ludwig Wonderland" is the first in a chronological set of 3 clips to be published in shorter intervals towards the release. Enjoy the show.

Primal Fear - Unveil New Album Title

Power metallers Primal Fear have set Delivering The Black as the title of their tenth studio album, tentatively due in January 2014 via Frontiers Records. So far, the band hasn't really explained the meaning behind the title but one can speculate. What do you think it means? Chthonic - Schedule Acoustic Performances At Historic Buildings

Chthonic are not afraid of trying out epic things. The band has now confirmed an unplugged tour in their home country of Taiwan. Beginning in the latter half of October, Chthonic will have its first-ever acoustic concert tour at century-old Bú-tik palaces in Taoyuan, Taichung, and Tainan in line with the theme of the new album Bú-Tik.
