Riverside - Cancel Show In Portugal

Riverside were supposed to be playing in Lisbon, Portugal tonight but the progressive band has just cancelled the show due to a breakdown of their tourbus near Madrid. However, all the other shows on the European tour will happen as planned. Only us Portuguese were the unlucky ones.

Amberian Dawn - New Album In 2014, Launch Crowdfunding

The Finns Amberian Dawn have given an update on their new studio album. Guitarist/keyboardist Tuomas "Michael Thomas" Seppälä has already penned 10 new songs which are ready to be recorded in the fall of 2013. The band has also launched a fan funding project now to help finance the album. The successor to Circus Black is yet untitled and is coming out in early 2014 now with new vocalist Päivi "Capri" Selo.

Carcass - 'Surgical Steel' B-Side Streaming Online

Now that Surgical Steel is out in the open for everyone to enjoy, Carcass have another surprise for fans, the song "Zochrot" which will be part of the Decibel's flexi-disc series and will only be available on the October 2013 issue of the magazine which you can order here. Luckily, you can now also stream the song right here. Fans waited so long for the follow-up to Swansong, so it's only fair they get more new music.

Sylosis - Involved In RV Crash, Drop Off Tour

British thrashers Sylosis have been forced to drop off their North American tour with Trivium, After The Burial and DevilDriver following a serious RV crash. The news was broken by DevilDriver frontman Dez Fafara but Sylosis have since confirmed that "we are all alive and well!". Earlier this morning, the band explained what happened. This brings to mind what happened to Baroness last year.

Celeste's new album is coming. The black/sludge metal band has just announced that the new opus will see the light of day on November 22nd via Denovali Records. Absu - New Album Update, New Tour Dates
