The Eternal - Unveil New Album Sampler And Single

The Eternal have posted a ten-minute sampler of their upcoming album When The Circle Of Light Begins To Fade. You can check it out below. The band also revealed some additional details on the album. It was engineered and produced by vocalist/guitarist Mark Kelson and is the first album to feature the new guitarist Brad Cook. According to their Facebook page, this album "sees the band return to a darker sound with the band releasing some of their most emotive and personal material to date." You can also hear their new single "Beneath These Waves" over here and see if that is true.

Paradise Lost - Confirm More Dates For 25th Anniversary Tour

As you might remember, gothic metal legendary band Paradise Lost recently announced UK dates for their Tragic Illusion UK Tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary with special guests Lacuna Coil and Katatonia. The good news this time is that the special 25th anniversary dates are now extended to include other European dates as well. Katatonia fans will also enjoy the fact that the band will be playing the Viva Emptiness album in full in these dates as well as in the UK.

Axel Rudi Pell - New Drummer, Recording Next Album This Month

Following the recent departure of drummer Mike Terrana from the band, Axel Rudi Pell has revealed the new drummer that will join them. It will be Bobby Rondinelli (Rainbow, Black Sabbath, etc). In other news, the band starts recording their new album this month for a planned January 2014 release. Circle Of The Oath was released last year.

Hail Of Bullets - New Album Update

There is some more death metal coming from Hail Of Bullets at the end of this year. The Dutch band has finished the recordings for the follow-up to On Divine Winds (2010). Their third album is to be mixed and mastered by the ever-so-busy Dan Swanö in the next few weeks. The release date is planned for October/early November via Metal Blade Records. Prepare to be crushed, hopefully.

Morbid Angel - Announce 20th Anniversary Of Covenant US Tour

Florida based death metal veterans Morbid Angel are pleased to announce the "20th Anniversary of Covenant United States Tour 1993-2013". The tour is to be a celebration of their legendary biggest selling release, the album Covenant. The album was released on June 22nd, 1993 and went on to garner great critical and commercial success. On tour, the band will play the Covenant album in its entirety and after a short intermission some additional surprise classic cuts.
