Dream Theater - Push Back New DVD Release Date

At the beginning of the year, Dream Theater announced the release of a new DVD titled Live At Luna Park which was originally planned to drop in May 2013 but that won't be happening after all due to "extenuating circumstances". So, what happened really? You can now expect the DVD to be released in North America on November 5th via Eagle Rock Entertainment.

Tarja - Lyric Video For New Song Released

Slayer - Drummer Officially Replaced

2013 has certainly been a rough year for Slayer. It began with Dave Lombardo being kicked off the band's Australian tour, with Kerry King and Tom Araya electing to replace him with Jon Dette for future shows. Behemoth - Forthcoming Album Title Revealed

Death metal titans Behemoth have been holed up in Hertz Studios working on their tenth full-length album and took a break to announce the title of their forthcoming release - it will be called The Satanist. As I Lay Dying - Lambesis Posts Bail, Released From Custody

ABC10 and other sources are reporting that Tim Lambesis, the lead singer of metalcore outfit As I Lay Dying, who is accused of trying to arrange the murder of his estranged wife, posted bail and is out of jail. He left the Vista Detention Facility yesterday, according to authorities. Bail for the As I Lay Dying frontman was lowered from $3 million to $2 million a few weeks ago.

Six Feet Under - Have New Drummer

Yes, it is true. Six Feet Under have parted ways with drummer Kevin Talley who had joined them in 2011 to replace Greg Gall. Marco Pitruzzella has officially joined the ranks and will make his debut appearance with the band this Saturday in Memphis at Scion Rock Fest. He is a former band member of bassist Jeff Hughell.

Aerosmith - New DVD On The Way, Trailer Online

In March 2011, Japan was beset by a huge earthquake, a tsunami and the subsequent meltdown of the Fukushima nuclear plant. In the autumn of 2011, despite advice to the contrary, Aerosmith brought their Back On The Road tour to Japan. Autopsy - New Song Unveiled

Bay Area death metal legends Autopsy have unleashed forth the first taste of their upcoming new album The Headless Ritual. "Arch Cadaver" will feature on the album, which is due to be released on June 24th in Europe and July 2nd in North America through Peaceville Records. This will be the second album to be released by the band since they reformed after a 15 year hiatus, following their 2010 comeback EP The Tomb Within, and their first full length in 16 years, Macabre Eternal which was released in 2011. The new song can be streamed on NPR.
