Legendary Florida death metal tyrants Obituary have recently announced their upcoming North American headlining tour. The near month-long Carnival Of Death Tour 2012 will run through September and include Decrepit Birth, Jungle Rot and Encrust. The tour will also feature the return of Chicago's Broken Hope 12 years later. The tour dates and further info will be announced in the coming days. Swedish dark rock/metallers Katatonia have announced dates for an extensive European tour in November/December in support of their forthcoming 9th album Dead End Kings, which will hit stores in Europe on August 27th and North America on 28th August through Peaceville Records. Earlier this morning, the band checked in with an update, and Alexi will be leaving the hospital tomorrow (July 12th) and will be back on stage this Sunday to play at Ilosaarirock in Finland.
