DragonForce - Announce UK Signing Sessions

British speed power metallers DragonForce have announce a series of UK in-store signing sessions starting on April 15th in London and an album release show in Birmingham on April 18th.

The band posted the following on their official website: "Having recently announced the details of their forthcoming 5th studio album The Power Within, DragonForce now announce a series of instore signings with HMV, commencing in London on the release date of Sunday April 15th together with a special, one-off album launch show in Birmingham."

Ypres Metal Fest - Details Announced

Dismembertainment has revealed details about the upcoming first annual Ypres Metal Fest, which will be a tribute to the recently deceased David Gold. The show has been announced for April 7th at The Canadian Nightclub in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, where Empyrean Plague will be performing as well as guitarist Joel Violette and drummer Rae Amitay, who will play an acoustic set of Woods Of Ypres material.

Pink Cream 69 - Drummer Splits With Band, Announce Replacement

Drummer and original member Kosta Zafiriou has left German heavy metallers Pink Cream 69 to concentrate on his new band Unisonic. He will be replaced by his long time drum technician Chris Schmidt, who also played with Sunstorm.

Ex Deo - Reveal New Album Release Date And Tracklist

Kataklysm frontman Maurizio Iacono's Canadian epic death metal side project Ex Deo has announced the tracklist and release date for Caligvla, the follow-up album to their debut Romulus, released back in June 2009. Caligvla will be released on August 31st via Napalm Records, marking the 2000th birthday of Caligula according to the band.

So far it's been confirmed to feature collaborations by Mariangela Demurtas from Tristania on vocals and Francesco Artusato from All Shall Perish lending a guitar solo. More album details were previously reported here.

Sabaton - New Album To Be Available With Both Swedish And English Lyrics

Swedish heavy/power metallers Sabaton have revealed that their new album titled Carolus Rex will be available in both English and Swedish language.

The band explained the details on their official website: "We can now confirm that our new album will be available with both English and Swedish language. The topics of the songs will remain quite the same and deals with the Swedish Empire, from it's rise to it's fall. Carolus Rex will be available for purchase on single Swedish CD (Sweden only) and single English CD plus a limited edition which features a double CD with both language versions. The double CD will also feature a different cover artwork."

The Faceless - Part Ways With Guitarist, Announce Replacement

Michael Keene, the founding guitarist of US progressive/technical death metallers The Faceless, has announced via twitter that guitarist Steve Jones has officially left the band. This announcement means that Keene is now the only original member in the band. Guitarist Wes Hauch was also announced as Steve Jones' replacement. The band is currently finishing the recording of their new album Purging Mankind.

Arch Enemy - Christopher Amott Leaves The Band Again, Recruit Replacement

Arch Enemy have parted ways with guitarist Christopher Amott in an amicable split. Christopher Amott was a member of Arch Enemy between 1996-2005 and again between 2007-2011. Following is a joint statement by Arch Enemy: "We thank Christopher for the time he's worked with the band and of course wish him the very best in his future endeavours. Thankfully, there is no drama behind the scenes here. This is the best way forward for all involved. Christopher simply isn't into playing extreme metal anymore."
