In fact, drummer Mike Luce has already recorded all the drum parts for the new record. After releasing Resilience in 2013, the band didn't waste any time to make another record. The Finnish band HIM set up a pleasant surprise for the audience of Qstock festival in Oulu, Finland with a secret performance. The festival had originally booked Ville Valo's solo project Rambo Rimbaud, but Valo and the rest of the band apparently decided otherwise and introduced their new drummer, Jukka "Kosmo" Kröger, on stage. Jukka previously played in the Finnish pop-rock group Herra Ylppö & Ihmiset.
Fans of New Jersey-based thrash metal veterans Overkill take notice. The group recently inked a new worldwide deal with Nuclear Blast Records and their first worldwide release on Nuclear Blast will be a special box set, HistoriKill: 1995 - 2007 which will be released on October 16th and will include eleven Overkill albums on 13 CDs and a bonus CD (including demos, remixes and an unreleased cover song) in digi sleeves.
Dave Wyndorf and his henchmen recently completely rearranged and boosted the album Last Patrol and christened it Milking The Stars: A Reimagining Of Last Patrol. Now Monster Magnet go back even further to 2010 and their Mastermind album. Marko has already been with Eschatos since the recording of their new album, The Grand Noir, and now he's joining their live line-up as well.
