Avatarium - Reveal Details About New EP

Hailing from Stockholm, gloomy doom metal outfit Avatarium has a new EP ready to be released. Following the success of their eponymous debut album, out in November 2013 and the first ever single Moonhorse, the band just announced the release of their new EP called All I Want. The vinyl/digital only EP will be out on November 14th, 2014 via Nuclear Blast.

Negură Bunget - First Tape Edition Of 'OM' Coming

Archetapes Industries, a new underground label, specialized in cassette releases, announced the release of Negură Bunget's masterpiece OM, for first time in pro-tape format. It will be limited to only 100 hand-numbered copies, in green tinted pro-tape. It was mastered specifically for analogue format and also features a 3 panel booklet with the original artwork.

Moonsorrow - Headliners Closing Jorvik Viking Festival

In what originally started as the main closing event with Týr two years ago, the epic Finnish Viking metal band Moonsorrow have been announced to headline the end of next year's York Viking festival. This will be Moonsorrow's first ever UK headlining show to date.

The Crown - New Album On The Way, Details Unveiled

It's been a while since we heard from Swedish death/thrash metallers The Crown. But good things come to those who wait, they say. While last year they announced they were recording their new album, now they have revealed all about it. Century Media will release of The Crown's eighth studio album Death Is Not Dead on January 12th, 2015. As for sad news, drummer Janne Saarenpää decided to focus on other things and left the group.

Ace Frehley - Announce Touring Lineup

Original Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley has announced the touring lineup for the first leg of his first U.S. shows in four years which will be announced next week. The 2014 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee has tapped Richie Scarlet, who performed rhythm guitar and vocal duties on his Trouble Walkin' album in 1989. Richie toured with Ace in 1984 and 1985 and periodically from 1989 through 1995 and was also known for touring with Sebastian Bach.

Amaranthe - Debut New Music Video

Devin Townsend - New Album Teaser, European Tour Dates

Metallica - Continue Work On New Album, To Release Live Albums On CD

After a 3D movie called Metallica Through The Never, a new Guinness World Record from last year for being the first band to play all seven continents in one year, it's maybe finally time for Metallica to finish that new record as well. Six years have passed since they released the latest full-length album Death Magnetic. At the beginning of this year, Metallica confirmed that they should to start working on new album this year. In a recent interview, bassist Robert Trujillo says work continues on the follow-up to Death Magnetic.

Callisto - To Release New Album In January 2015

It's been a while since Finnish post-metal band Callisto released their last studio album Providence (2009). So here it is. The upcoming new effort, Secret Youth, will see the light on January, 2015 via Svart Records.
