Count Raven - Band Update

It was 7 years ago that Metal Storm last reported news from the Swedish doomsters Count Raven. Since 2016, the band has a new bassist, Samuel Cornelsen, and it seems like they are preparing new songs. Recently, the group posted a little video of them rehearsing some new songs. Allochiria - Upcoming Album Streaming In Full

Greek post-metallers Allochiria are releasing their new album Throes three years after they released Omonoia. The good news today is that the entire release is already streaming online. Iced Earth - New Album In June, Reveal Title And Tracklist

Edguy - To Release 25th Anniversary 3-Disc Album, Monuments Tour

It's Edguy's 25th anniversary this year. To celebrate that, the band is working on a big 3-disc anniversary release, containing new stuff, old stuff and unveiling unreleased material of long forgotten times and as if that was not enough - as a bonus - a DVD containing their video clips and a full live show filmed in 2004 during the Hellfire Club tour. Furthermore, the power metallers will play some Best Of shows, based on the material of their entire career.

Myrkur - New Album Out In The Fall

Danish composer and multi-instrumentalist Myrkur entered the studio last month to record the follow up to her debut, M, released in 2015 on Relapse to critical acclaim. She's revealed Randall Dunn as the producer who is known for his work with Marissa Nadler, Earth, Sunn O))), Boris, Wolves In The Throne Room and more. They worked in Copenhagen's Black Tornado studio and also in Dunn's own Seattle studio. According to Myrkur's latest update, the mixing process had already started.
