California based deathcore outfit Suicide Silence, and Michigan's unstoppable sons of molten melodic death metal, The Black Dahlia Murder, will combine forces this fall on a heavy metal campaign across the grounds of North America. A new Revocation track has just been released and can now be enjoyed here. The band has a new album coming out called Deathless which is set for an October 14th release via Metal Blade Records, and the artwork, tracklist and first single which is the title track, have been unveiled. Deathless was recorded with acclaimed producer Zeuss at Planet Z studios in Massachusetts. According to the label, the album is ten tracks of ambitious, catchy, and heavy material. Melodic death metal band Engraved Disillusion coming from the United Kingdom has revealed the artwork for their upcoming album The Eternal Rest to be released this year. The ten tracks of this album have been mastered and mixed and the first music video from the album is set to be recorded this Sunday. Two Swedish heavyweights, Opeth and In Flames, will join forces on a North American co-headlining tour with support from Red Fang. Both Swedish bands have new albums to present. Only after one year of existence, US tech-death machine Alterbeast sadly announce the departure of their vocalist Cameron Rogers. Cameron will officially leave the band after the group's August 29th show in South Lake Tahoe (also playing are Origin, King Parrot, Beyond Creation and others). On the other hand, the band already confirmed Monte Barnard as the replacement for Cameron. You will be able to see Monte on Alterbeast's upcoming North American tour with The Black Dahlia Murder and Suicide Silence.
Eight months on from the original announcement of the follow-up to their 2011 debut Implicit Obedience, Japanese extreme metallers Desecravity have emerged from their Tokyo lair with an update on their second studio effort. This December, Californian metallers Machine Head will embark on a headlining tour across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Support on the 11-date long trek will come from Devil You Know and Darkest Hour. All these winter dates will also include the material from the band's upcoming eighth album, which will be released via Nuclear Blast by the time they arrive.

Napalm Records has confirmed the signing of Los Angeles, California's nu metal outfit Coal Chamber. Following a 12-plus year breakup the band reunited in 2011 and 2013 for festival shows as well as an extensive North American tour. Now all four members of Coal Chamber (Dez Fafara, Nadja Peulen, Mikey Cox, Meegs) have decided the time was right to begin work on a new album. The band is currently working on the new material that they hope to release next year. The band released three albums so far. Anyone excited?
It was recently officially reported that Fausto Fanti, guitarist Blondie Hammet of comedy metal band Massacration, was found dead in his apartment in Pinheiros, the city of São Paulo, in the afternoon, by friend and fellow worker Adriano Silva (known for giving life to the character Joselito). The hypothesis for the cause of death of Fanti, who was 35 years of age, is that it was suicide by hanging with a belt. Also according to the investigators in the case, the comedian was divorcing his wife, with whom he had an eight year-old daughter.
British melodic death metal outfit Bloodshot Dawn announce that they will release a sophomore album, Demons, on the 26th of October in the UK (rest of world TBA). The album was funded by fans in a Kickstarter campaign which was achieved in just 4 days, testament to the band's loyal following. The album was mixed and mastered by Danish sound wizard Jacob Hansen (Aborted, Amaranthe, Volbeat, Destruction, Epica, Pestilence).
Former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley is streaming not one, but two new songs, "Space Invader" and "The Joker" (cover of the Steve Miller Band's 1973 classic), through the SoundCloud widgets down under. Both songs are taken from the upcoming new album, Space Invader, which is set for the release in Germany/Scandinavia on August 15th and in Europe on August 18th via SPV/Steamhammer Records, and August 19th in North America via eOne Music.
