Khôrada - Former Agalloch And Giant Squid Musicians Unite

After John Haughm formed Pillorian, the other members of the defunct Agalloch have recently formed Khôrada. It emerges from the dissolution of Agalloch and Giant Squid, featuring former Agalloch members Don Anderson (guitar), Jason Walton (bass) and Aesop Dekker (drums) alongside ex-Giant Squid guitarist/vocalist Aaron John Gregory. The quartet has announced that it has signed with Prophecy Productions and is currently writing and demoing material for its as-yet-untitled debut album.

Agalloch - Split Up

Sad and unexpected news arrive for Agalloch fans. Following 20 years, 5 full length albums, many tours around the world, and numerous other recordings, John Haughm and the rest of the band (Don Anderson, Jason Walton, and Aesop Dekker) have parted ways. What the future holds for the separate parties remains undetermined. The band collectively thanks all of their fans. Mastermind John Haughm explained that he isn't sure if this is a permanent end of the band or not.

Agalloch - Confirm Final Dates Of Euro Tour

Agalloch are preparing for their upcoming European trek. The band has recently announced that they are also taking French metallers Crown with them on this tour as main support. Agalloch - Streaming New Song

Acclaimed folk black metal quartet Agalloch have unveiled a new song titled "Celestial Effigy" which is available for streaming over at Pitchfork or below. The track is taken off their upcoming album The Serpent & The Sphere which is due to hit the shelves on the 13th of May this year via Profound Lore Records in North America followed by an European release by Eisenwald on May 19th. Agalloch - Share New Album Title And Release Dates

Agalloch are in the news again because now they have revealed the title of their new album as well as the official release dates. Recently, we discovered that their fifth full-length album was complete and it will be called The Serpent & The Sphere. The album was recorded at Cloud City and mixed at Everything Hz by Billy Anderson. The Americans will be working with an European partner for their new album release.

Agalloch - New Album Complete

Agalloch's frontman John Haughm announced on his official Facebook page that the new Agalloch album is ready and mastered, the only thing left to do is to design the CD/LP cover art. So it seems safe to assume that we will be seeing its release in the coming months. Their label Profound Lore Records had already revealed that the successor to Marrow Of The Spirit would come out this year. It's just a matter of patience now.

Agalloch - Announce European 2013 Spring Tour

Agalloch will be back on the road and touring Europe this spring (April/May) in support of their latest EP Faustian Echoes and promise to play nearly two hours each night and this will include playing Faustian Echoes in its entirety. Agalloch - New Song Available For Streaming

American folk metallers Agalloch have made their new song "Faustian Echoes" available for streaming online at their Bandcamp page. The entire 21-minute epic track is the longest song ever written by the band and will be featured on their new EP titled Faustian Echoes, consisting of the one song, released through the band's own imprint, Dammerung Arts.
