Amberian Dawn - Sign To Napalm Records, New Album Tracklist
Finnish female fronted metallers Amberian Dawn are pleased to announce that they've signed a worldwide record deal with Austrian label Napalm Records, which will release the band's upcoming new album Magic Forest this coming June. While the cover artwork of the album has already been released a couple of months ago, now there is also the complete tracklist, available down under.

Amberian Dawn - New Album Art And Guests Announced
Amberian Dawn's new album is called Magic Forest and the symphonic group recently revealed its cover artwork and some guests that will participate on the album. One of those guests is Jens Johansson (Stratovarius) who has earlier played on the albums End Of Eden (2010) and Circus Black (2012). The other guest is opera singer Markus Nieminen, who has already performed on End Of Eden as well. As for the album's artwork, you can take a look at it below. The plan is to release the album in 2014.

Amberian Dawn - New Album In 2014, Launch Crowdfunding
The Finns Amberian Dawn have given an update on their new studio album. Guitarist/keyboardist Tuomas "Michael Thomas" Seppälä has already penned 10 new songs which are ready to be recorded in the fall of 2013. The band has also launched a fan funding project now to help finance the album. The successor to Circus Black is yet untitled and is coming out in early 2014 now with new vocalist Päivi "Capri" Selo.

Amberian Dawn - Compilation Album Samples Online
Symphonic metallers Amberian Dawn will release a compilation album featuring re-recorded versions of their classic songs with new singer Päivi "Capri" Virkkunen which replaces Heidi Parviainen now with her new project Dark Sarah. Re-Evolution will be made available worldwide on June 17th, 2013 (June 14th in Finland). A three-minute clip of audio samples of the tracks that are set to appear on Re-Evolution can now be streamed below. Enjoy!

Amberian Dawn - New Video Online, Part Ways With Bassist
Amberian Dawn have released a brand new music video for "Kokko - Eagle Of Fire", with new singer Päivi "Capri" Virkkunen, which is now available for viewing below. The digital single will be available for you to download on 17th of May. This video was produced by Routafilmi and directed by Markus Nieminen. Routafilmi also produced the band's "Arctica" video. The song is taken from the symphonic group forthcoming Re-Evolution release, which is coming out on 17th of June 2013 (14th of June in Finland) and features new interpretations of some of their classic songs.

Amberian Dawn - New Video Online
Finnish symphonic power metallers Amberian Dawn have posted online a new music video for the song "Cold Kiss". The video was directed by Ville Lipiäinen. The song features Timo Kotipelto and is the first single taken from the band's fourth album Circus Black, which is out today in Europe and will be released on March 6th (Canada) and April 24th (USA) via Spinefarm Records. Amberian Dawn - Guitarist To Sit Out Tour, More Tour Line-Up Changes
As Finnish symphonic metallers Amberian Dawn prepare for the Out Of The Dark Tour which will also feature Van Canto, Tristania, Serenity and Xandria, the band has been hit by some unfortunate news. Guitarist Kasperi Heikkinen, drummer Heikki Saari and bassist Jukka Koskinen will have to be replaced on this tour.

Amberian Dawn - To Record New Album This Summer
Amberian Dawn are happy to announce that they're starting the recordings of a new album this summer.
Amberian Dawn's frontman, keyboardist and guitarist Tuomas Seppälä, has composed all ten songs for this new album and vocalist Heidi Parviainen has already started working on the lyrics.
According to Tuomas: "There's going to be some changes in our working methods and the next album is going to sound different compared to our previous albums. We're going to use backing vocalists for example. Earlier we have had only guesting lead singers and no backing vocalists at all. There's some really fast songs on this album and also some 80's- style songs like Valkyries and Kokko from our previous albums. Technically there's great challenges for the band and all the skills possessed by the new line-up will be essential. We're going to break some new limits again and lift the level of our quality even higher than before. With some guesting vocalists or musicians on this album, just like on all our previous albums, this new album is going to be more solid than our latest album End Of Eden."
Accoding to Heidi: "There's going to be some new elements on the lyrics, for example some horror themes".

In other news, the band has suffered a major line-up disruption. Main composer Tuomas Seppälä explains as follows:
"There's no drama involved in this line-up change. It's all about time issues. I hope very much succes and happines for you Tommi Kuri (bass), Joonas Pykälä-Aho (drums) and Emil Pohjalainen (guitars) in the future. You can meet the new line-up of Amberian Dawn on our music video "Arctica". These new guys have been around already before - Heikki Saari (Norther, Naildown) used to be our original drummer in 2006 and he played drums on the songs "River Of Tuoni" and "Evil Inside Me" on our debut album, River Of Tuoni. Bassist Jukka Koskinen (Norther, Wintersun, Cain's Offering) has already played one gig with us last summer at Tavastia Club. We're ready with our new line-up on our next gig in Helsinki, November 26th in Dante's Highlight."
The new Amberian Dawn line-up is completed with the addition of Helion guitarist Kimmo Korhonen.

Spinefarm Records has signed Finnish metal act Amberian Dawn. Their third album End Of Eden will be released on October 20th.
Led by songwriter Tuomas Seppälä, in 2008 the band released their debut album River Of Tuoni, which was followed up with The Clouds Of Northern Thunder in 2009. Amberian Dawn have done 2 European tours with Epica and a new tour is in the plans after the album's release.
The band is no stranger to radio play either - Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson praised the band's music after they had toured the UK and gave AD lots of air time on his show on BBC6 during the release of The Clouds Of Northern Thunder. Music of Amberian Dawn is bombastic and melodic, singer Heidi Parviainen has been gifted with a magnificent voice that makes Amberain Dawn stand out from the ever growing crowd of operatic metal. Heidi is also responsible for the lyrics which are based on Finnish mythology.

Twisted Talent press release
Trying to find a great band which has a unique style and approach to its music is a job for a very patient and observant man - or a pearl diver. In fact, it might be as hard as finding a pearl in the River Of Tuoni.
However, we at Twisted Talent have the great luck to have a few good pearl diggers around who came up one day with a Finnish band called Amberian Dawn. Mr. Jens Johansson himself, notorious keyboarder of Stratovarius and a real expert when it comes to good music gave us an important hint. Checking them out for the first time meant listening to their debut album River Of Tuoni... struck by the impressive virtuosity of guitar & keyboard player Tuomas Seppälä, the fragile & complex melodies and the clear, mellow voice of classical soprano singer Heidi Parviainen, it got more and more obvious to us, that we had found something very special!
This impression was overwhelmingly assured after listening as well to their second album The Clouds Of Northland Thunder. Symphonic metal meets extreme technical skills, talent, poesy, a great voice and dark, mythical, beautiful stories packed in extraordinary songs.
To complete the picture with one more interesting component, Amberian Dawn have released 2 of their songs on Rockband Network so far. 5 more songs are to come very soon and it is planned to release all other songs of their current albums in the near future as well, so stay tuned!
