Children Of Bodom - Check In From The Studio

Finnish metallers Children Of Bodom are currently busy recording ten new tracks for the band's forthcoming 9th album release in their own studio in Helsinki. Nightwish, Children Of Bodom And More - Honored With Stamps

The Finns do it again, this time with metal stamps! A music-themed stamp sheet is set to be released in September designed by graphic artist Klaus Welp when the Finnish postal service, Posti, issues several new series of stamps. The rock and metal stamps were created to honor six Finnish bands that have achieved international success and they look pretty neat. The bands featured in the stamps are Hanoi Rocks, The Rasmus, HIM, Apocalyptica, Children Of Bodom and Nightwish.

Children Of Bodom have started recording their new album! Things are moving along for the follow-up to 2013's Halo Of Blood and drummer Jaska Raatikainen is hard at work tracking his parts. Back in December, the metallers started to compose and rehearse songs for the upcoming album. What will the Finns bring on their next album? We will have to wait and see.

Machine Head - Announce Tour With Epica And Children Of Bodom

Bay Area metallers Machine Head continue their live domination of North America with the announcement of a 21-show U.S. and Canadian trek in support of their debut studio album for Nuclear Blast Entertainment, which is due out this fall. With a strong and diverse line-up that features support from Finnish powerhouse Children Of Bodom and Dutch symphonic metallers Epica with American melodic death/thrash openers Battlecross, the tour launches on October 4th in Denver, Colorado and includes five Canadian cities before closing out in Hollywood, California on November 1st. Children Of Bodom - Drummer Suffering From Back Problems

Drummer Jaska Raatikainen of Finnish metallers Children Of Bodom has recently revealed that he was diagnosed with three prolapsed discs in his lower back during the band's fall 2013 European tour. Even though he is doing much better now, Jaska is still not 100% recovered. The band has just begun a North American tour and also released a new lyric video for the song "Sream For Silence" (from Halo Of Blood), available to watch here.

Children Of Bodom - North American Tour With Týr

Currently touring in Europe, Children Of Bodom have announced the 2014 Halo Of Blood North American Tour. Týr will be joining the Finns on a trek which will take place next February/March plus special guests to be announced. Both bands have new albums to showcase. Children Of Bodom - Confirm Ilosaarirock Performance, Frontman To Be Released From Hospital Tomorrow

Children Of Bodom's frontman Alexi Laiho checked into the hospital with severe stomach pain last week, which later turned out to be a serious infection, forcing the band to cancel a few dates this past weekend. Earlier this morning, the band checked in with an update, and Alexi will be leaving the hospital tomorrow (July 12th) and will be back on stage this Sunday to play at Ilosaarirock in Finland.
